💛 Self-care isn’t selfish — it’s essential.

We spend so much time caring for everyone else that we often forget the most important person on the list, ourselves!

My latest blog dives into why self-care matters, how it affects your brain and body, and simple ways to make it part of your everyday life (without the guilt!).

You’ll also find journaling prompts and practical tips to help you build a self-care routine that support and nourish you.

✨ Read the full post here 👉 https://beingofmind.com/from-burnout-to-balance-how-small-acts-of-self-care-can-change-everything/

And if you’re ready to make self-care a regular part of your routine, check out my “Self-Care Isn’t Selfish Planner” — a beautiful undated planner to help you design daily moments of calm and joy.
📝You can find the planner link in my bio.

It’s so easy to replay the past in our minds, what we could have done differently, what we should have said, or how things “might” have turned out. But looking back too much keeps us stuck.
It's so important to remember that you’re not going that way anymore. What matters most is where you are right now and the small steps you can take forward.

💡Try this tip: When you catch yourself dwelling on the past, bring your attention back to the present by asking, “What’s one thing I can do today that moves me forward?”

If this resonates with you, tap the ❤️ and share this post, someone might need this encouragement today.

Autumn has a way of reminding us that it’s okay to let go of what no longer serves us. 🍂

Whether that’s old habits, extra pressure you’ve been putting on yourself, or even past mistakes, sometimes releasing those things makes room for something even better.

Do you ever notice how your mind can throw out thoughts that feel convincing in the moment… but later you realise they weren’t actually true? That’s because not all thoughts are facts. Many are just mental noise shaped by stress, old habits, or a busy day.

The next time your mind feels overwhelming, try this journaling prompt:
📝 What thoughts have I been repeating lately, and are they facts or just stories?

✨️ Remember, you don’t have to believe everything you think.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is simply stop. 🙌

When you feel overwhelm creeping in Pause. Breathe. Let go!

✨️Try a 1 minute micro pause right now:
- Close your eyes
- Inhale deeply through your nose
- Exhale like you are blowing out a candle
- Relax your shoulders
- Unclench your jaw
- Feel the tension melt away.

🫶 How do you reset when life feels heavy? Comment below so we can share ideas. 💬
