YCV 2013

YCV 2013 "YCV" will be something truly outstanding and unique. A newly written piece, "Do what is fair", has been ordered for "YCV" written by Jan Sandström.

The 17th-20th of October Uppsala Cathedral Boys’ and Girls’ Choir arrange "Young Cathedral Voices 2013" for boys’- and girls’- cathedral choirs from different parts of Europe. Uppsala Cathedral Boys´Choir and Uppsala Cathedral Girls´Choir have invited six cathedral choirs from different parts of Europe to participate in the choir festivities of "Young Cathedral Voices 2013". It will all take place

The 17th-20th of October in Uppsala, with several concerts performed in Uppsala Cathedral by the choirs. It will be performed for the first time by the eight choirs and four organs during the Eucharist held by Most Reverend Anders Wejryd Archbishop of Uppsala in Uppsala Cathedral. Each day of "YCV" will contain great musical performances by the invited choirs aswell as the host choirs of Uppsala Cathedral. "Young Cathedral Voices 2013" is both unique in itself and has the potential to be a very special and memorable experience for all. Choir member or not, this is something you don't want to miss!
