The Moving Up Ceremony of the academically qualified Grade 10 Students on April 4, 2018, Wednesday, will be divided into two sessions to properly accommodate the whopping number of students with their parents.

The following sections belong to the first session, which is 6 AM to 9 AM:

A RESPONSE TO G7 - G9'S QUERY: BAKIT HINDI KAMI KASALI?

" The Valentines "pasabog" was the idea of the G10
teachers. It was started during their coffee break.
Planned by them and the GLC, and prefect of discipline, our
action. Ibinabalik lang kasi namin yung kabaitan na
ipinakita ninyo nung promenade. Our return of
favors kumbaga. Puwede siyang maulit next school year
depende pa din sa kabaitan ng mga bata. Nagrerely
lang naman kami sa kung ano ang ugali meron ang bata eh.

The ESP Club and Department has prepared activities that will high light the talents and skills of KVNHS students.

• ESSAY WRITING •
[ 12 - 07 - 17 Competition
12 - 08 - 17 Awarding ]
THEME: Violence Against Women - Free Community, Starts with me
- One participant per club
- Must be written in English
- Only an hour will be given to finish the essay
- Participants can express their thoughts in their own creative style

Criteria:
Content - 40 %
Relative to theme - 30 %
Creativity - 30 %

• POSTER MAKING •
[ 12 - 07 - 17 Competition
12 - 08 - 17 Awarding ]

Theme: Violence Against Women and Children - free community, starts with me
- One representative per club
- Contestants must provide their own white cartolina and coloring materials.
- Only an hour will be given for the poster making process
- Identifying marks, such as the contestant's name, shall not appear on their work. Only the assigned number to them.
- Failure to follow the mechanics will be equivalent to a three-point deduction.

Criteria:
Relevance to theme - 40 %
Creativity and Presentation - 30 %
Originality - 30 %

• JINGLE MAKING •
[ 12 - 08 - 17, 10:30 am, Competition and Awarding ]

- 10 to 15 participants ( Male or female )
- Participants must sing and dance at the same time, in accordance with the theme
- Presentation should be from 3 to 7 minutes, intro and actual performance included. Exceeding the time limit will be equivalent to a five-point deduction in the overall score
- Music or song must be an original composition.
- Props must be used minimally.

Criteria:
Theme Relevance - 30 %
Voice Quality - 20 %
Precision of Dance Movement - 20 %
Originality - 20 %
Projection and Overall Impact - 10 %
