sound is upbeat and/or fun something that is outside the box. Something that takes real creativity and bravery to implement it. If it sounds like something else that's already out there, it will most likely not be aired. In addition; We will not accept music that is not completely original. Please submit music that is entirely original, that you either retain the rights to, or that you have created and produced yourself. Producers work very hard to create their music and I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone stealing something that you worked hard to create. In other words, if you use a Jeezy beat, Dre beat, Sounclick beat, etc. on your mixtape to promote yourself, that music will not be aired on the show. Dj Kooliade believes that true talent should prevail . She is happy and privileged to give anyone who has strong talents and abilities the opportunity to put their music out there. Please know that we are selective as to what we play on the show and there is a certain sound that we are looking for. If we decide not to air it, that doesn't mean that the music is not good or even great... it just means that it doesn't fit the sound that we are looking for this particular show. On the other hand if we do use it, it will most likely be aired on many occasions :)
