As the Fall BR campaign comes to a close I wanted to take a second to thank both of the models for being open to the creative process and trusting me and the vision for the final edits. Fall ‘23 was one of those campaigns that took multiple shoots and MANY hours of editing to end up with a final product. Some of that content seeing the light of day and some of it not quite on fitting with the direction of the campaign theme. Overall, it was one of the most challenging seasonal campaigns I’ve worked on. But without a challenge how can you ever learn from your mistakes and pivot when starting the next one?? I loved working on this campaign and I’m thankful for the things it taught me! On to Winter!… and oh yeah, Happy Halloween 🎃👁️

Ai edit vs original film photo

This started out as a test to see what new Generative Fill Ai can do to a film photo of mine. After toying around and feeding the program prompts for a couple hours. It turned into this. I did 0 retouching or remasking of what Gen Fill ai could come up with. The results are pretty mind-blowing. Especially for how new this technology is. That being said, I still don’t know how I quite feel using ONLY this tool to create a piece of art in photoshop. It still feels a bit weird that it’s pulling from other images already on the internet. Kinda takes the originality out of the piece. This ended up being a healthy exercise for me to at least better understand what Ai can/should be used for. I’ll most likely stick to using it for removing foreign objects in my images and retouching areas that are giving me a hard time. It seems to do those things extremely well! All in all, 👍🏻👍🏻
