Haven’t looked at my tank for over 2 weeks and trusting the process. Peeking at the Hydros, as expected the Kalk stirrer lost potency halfway through the trip and the Alk started its gradual slide down. Surprised that up-ing the 2 parts did not seem to compensate (maybe I am too light-handed?). But the kH level is still not super dangerous so it should be good for another day or two. Glad no big temp swing happened and water level stayed steady without turning on the ATO. 🤞 The last two Japan trips ended in SPS crash both times even though they’re not directly caused by the trips, but rather with issues surfacing before hand.. let’s see if we can break the travel bad luck chain in 2025!

Swung by a Family Mart in Japan; Pokemon card was 180 yen a pack (~$1.15 USD). Not sure if they are equivalent of the US packs as they felt skinny at 5 cards per pack, but dang, the value! Immediately bought two. Only got one holo from the two packs though. 😅
