Well I’m so late…

But I did want to take the opportunity to thank and one of their sponsors for this new equipment.

The Q9U was a mic I needed and didn’t know I needed both XLR and USB compatible, it’s my new mic when I’m traveling! Along with the MD5 mic stand, it’s makes things so easy.

And these SR 850 headphones…oh I’m a really in the game now!

I know I’ve been a little incognito lately so I decided to give you all a life update:

❌ Still no job or even an interview…but I remain vigilant

✅ Podcast agency is off to a great start and I’m excited about the possibilities

âś… Keeping myself busy between podcast work, Ubering, walks in the park, and Agatha All Along

❌ Somedays are better than others and Seasonal Depression “season” is upon us soon.

✅ Got some 🔥 guests coming up soon not to mention the great conversation I had with Shanna Stevenson this week

✅ Even though I’m in some significant financial ambiguity, I’m still showing up to Afros & Audio Podcast Festival in Baltimore to learn, network, and celebrate with some dope ass people in the industry I adore.

Celebrating Myself

I’m usually not the type that post “it’s my birthday look at me” posts. It’s just not me.

But I had someone really special to me create this and I was told that if you want different results, you need to do things differently.

So I am…celebrating myself.

Now this is only the second time in 44 years I’ve tried doing this and I don’t know what I’m doing.

It feels awkward to celebrate and put yourself first. There’s a part of me that still wants to be accommodating to others in regard for what they want to do to celebrate me.

It’s a weird feeling to have.

So I’m out buying a pair of shoes. And getting free stuff from Starbuck’s and trying to figure out what I’m gonna eat tonight.

Bottom line, why I figure this out…I just want to thank you all for the words, gifts, messages, and phone calls.

I often feel isolated and alone. Thinking that no one gives a rat’s ass about me pittilly ass birthday but y’all have truly celebrated me so now it’s time for me to learn to celebrate myself!
