PUNK PICK OF THE WEEK: COUPE-GORGE - SILENCE DE MORT LP

A lot of great punk / oi! bands coming from France the last couple of years. You probably heard names like Lions Law, Rixe, Syndrom 81, maybe also Bromure, Squelette and here's also Coupe-Gorge.

HIPHOP PICK OF THE WEEK: Non Phixion vinyl

The classic album The Future Is Now finally got a repress last year on purple vinyl, celebrating its 20th anniversary. Then also last year they did a tour through Europe with Lords Of The Underground. Saw them at Simplon, Groningen, but now they're coming back to the north again with Lords Of The Underground and Onyx at Iduna, Drachten on April 17. Also they recently released a split EP with MF Doom called Strange Universe. Prepare for the show and get some vinyl now at The Limit Records.

REGGAE PICK OF THE WEEK: Niney The Observer - Dubbing With The Observer LP

Classic dub, one of the best dub albums ever, available on vinyl at The Limit Records. Niney The Observer's first dub album Dubbing With The Observer from 1975 was cut at King Tubby's studio with Tubby himself reworking Niney's rhythms and adding his magic as only he could do.

PUNK PICK OF THE WEEK: The Bruisers - Intimidation (extended edition) LP

Rebellion Records always delivers the oi punk goods and this one is absolutely amazing again! The classic Bruisers EP from 1989 with three additional songs recorded during the same studio session. At The Limit Records we still have some copies available on clear vinyl!
Back in 1998 the Bruisers played at Het Bolwerk, Sneek and i was lucky enough to catch them live. Boston hardcore band Blood For Blood was on tour with them (their first European tour) and i was absolutely blown away by both bands. Shortly after Al Barr joined the Dropkick Murphys and went on European tour with Agnostic Front. Witnessed a great show of that tour in Doornroosje, Nijmegen. Yeah, good times!
