It's my pub date. Time to celebrate!

Almost four years ago, I self-published Busting the Brass Ceiling about former policewoman and my co-author Fanchon Blake's historic legal battle against sexism within the LAPD.

Kirkus Reviews called it a "valuable . . . and at times, frightening" memoir.

And now, Busting the Brass Ceiling has busted out of the self-publishing realm.

Open Road Integrated Media just published the story of what prompted Fanchon to wage that battle--and the fight behind the case--that would change the face of policing for women and minorities across the country.
