Violinist Soyoung Yoon, one of the internationally renowned violinists today and a judge of the 2023 19th Khachaturian 120th Anniversary International Violin Competition, will join hands with pianist Jinsang Lee at the Central Opera Hause at 19:30 on December 21, 2023, brings an music feast to Chinese music fans. This is also the first time Soyoung Yoon has performed a solo concert in China. Soyoung Yoon has won the love of global audiences with her exquisite and rigorous playing skills and soulful performance style. She has won awards in several important international music competitions and performed with world-renowned symphony orchestras, winning widespread acclaim. As one of the most promising pianists of his generation, Jinsang Lee’s artistic talent had already been honored by previous achievements in several prestigious piano competitions. The opening day of the 19th Khachaturian 120 Anniversary International Violin Competition 🥳

The 19th Khachaturian 120th Anniversary International Violin Competition is organized by the Shijingshan District People's Government of Beijing Municipality and the Aram Khachaturian Culture Foundation. It is co-hosted by the Shijngshan District Culture and Tourism Bureau of Beijing Municipality, the 19th Khachaturian 120th Anniversary International Violin Competition Organizing committee and JINGSE(Beijing) International Education Technology Co., Ltd.As a major event launched under the "Art Shijingshan" brand, the competition completed the China regional qualifiers at the Shijingshan District Cultural Center from October 6th to 8th, 2023, along with the international selection round. After intense competition, the 23 contestants from around the world will arrive in Beijing, gathering at the Central Opera House for a 12-day intense competition. The opening ceremony of the 19th Khachaturian 120th Anniversary International Violin Competition will take place on December 17, 2023, at 19:30 in the Central Opera House.

Renowned conductor Chen Lin will lead the Central Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with one of the most active international violinists and previous Khachaturian International Violin Competition champion Jarosław Nadrzycki, and Chinese international violinist Yang Tianwa, to present a grand musical celebration. Beijing TV host Zhu Yijing and Central Opera House young bass-baritone singer Ma Chunpeng will jointly host the opening ceremony.

The entire opening ceremony will be broadcast live by "Today's Music MusicToday Video Account," "Love Everywhere Official Website," "Shijingshan Fusion Media Center," "Khachaturian International Music Competition Video Account," and "Music Weekly Video Account," among other media platforms.
