Been letting the deer live and getting after the birds lately. Been heck for a start.

Well that’s a tough one, right before shooting light had my target buck come in at 20 yds. Could see him with the naked eye but drew back and couldn’t find him in the peep. Held draw for about 2 minutes but eventually let off. He walked all around me and I watched him make this rub on the tree. He circled me and ended up catching my wind and took off where my cam 50 yds away caught him.

Well it’s been an absolute grind so far with morning temps of 60 and afternoon at 90. We are all over the doe and young bucks but still waiting on a big guy to slip up. Headed to NY for some duck, geese, and ADK bucks!
