The Met's new logo has been harshly criticised on the web. Designed by, you guessed it, Wolff Olins at great expense no doubt. I know, I know I'm a designer and I should appreciate this 'study in technique and fusion' the way the 'letters seamlessly flow from one to the next' and the clever way it makes 'a bigger statement on the Met’s history.'
