Today is the 50th anniversary of Ted Simon starting the journey on which he would become Jupiter. Overloaded and inexperienced, he set off on the adventure which would launch a thousand trips.

Thank you Ted for everything you have given us - the wonders of the world.

Very sad news - the passing of an extraordinary and formidable lady.

It is with great sorrow that we share the news with you that Mary Sievier has passed away. She made a huge impact in her presentations at The Overland Event in 2021 and 2022, receiving standing ovations on both occasions.

Mary made a good many new friends through Overland and was much loved. We are delighted that she managed the landmark events she set herself when she learned a few months ago that she was terminally ill, to get to this year's Overland Event to see many of those friends, and to celebrate her 82nd birthday shortly afterwards.

She was an extraordinary woman and we shall miss her very much indeed. RIP Mary Motorcycle.

We often say any bike is an adventure bike, it's what you do on it which counts...

I couldn’t be more excited to say that after some of the most difficult riding I’ve ever done along the Road of Bones, through some of the most beautiful landscape I’ve ever seen, we have arrived in Magadan! We got in at 1am this morning after 18 hours on the bike and were surprised to see at least 10 people waiting for us at the city limit, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I need rap my head around this ride before I can really speak to my experience but I can say that it turned into something I never expected. The obligatory photo in front of the city limit sign will have to be taken today or tomorrow as it was to dark last night and honestly just way to tired to deal with it, so here’s a photo from the first set of mountains we went through. The next step from here is to get my bike to Mexico and let my body recover.
