Why are so many UK youth clubs operating at a reduced level, over 750 youth centres have shut since 2012, and many of those remaining are temporarily closed or preparing to permanently close due to underfunding. We need the youth centers across the UK to re-opened.

Ujima Radio would like to extend our gratitude to Nia Davis for her years of dedicated contribution as a volunteer & presenter at Ujima Radio.

Nia has been an instrumental part in enabling local artists to flourish in Bristol via The South West Chart Show, as well as delivering the highly esteemed Pick of The Week Show alongside longstanding co-host DJ Style.

Her continued efforts to provide a platform for young people have led her on to organise community projects such as Young Bristol's Got Talent and worked tirelessly as the Community engagement lead at St Pauls Carnival 2018.

From the extended Ujima Family, we wish her good fortunes in her future endeavours.
