Zero donations on the Indiegogo campaign after 5 days, there is clearly no interest for this project, so I will put it aside and delete the Indiegogo campaign, many thanks to those who shared the post though, much appreciated! (y)

Sorry for the hiatus, working on the crowdfunding campaign, those are more work than I thought, the campaign should be launched next Monday if all goes well, we have setup a very basic studio for the campaign promotional video, I mean, we literally have no budget for it, so the set-up is kind of a joke, but the quality is not bad so far!

A close-up of the tripod, in the novel green smoke comes out of the joints, in this version it comes out of exhausts!

Render with the smoke added to the tripod, a bit too thick for my taste, but I find smoke hard to control in Blender, I might go with particles smoke instead!

The novel describes the heat-ray s a box or camera-like object, so, and since there wont be any real close-up of it, I just made a quick model of it for the crowdfunding campaign, will make a better model afterward!

Working on concepts for the tripods, I want something heavily inspired by octopi, the coolest and most alien creature on Earth IMHO, and I want something different than what we have seen so far, so here is a first concept, comments and suggestions are more than welcome, as usual!
