Fair Play is not a slogan for us and not a marketing phrase. Fair Play is a principle. It means respect for one another, honesty in our interactions, loyalty in working together, and responsibility in the decisions we make. FPCM was founded for exactly this reason: because music connects people – but it can only endure where values are lived.
For years we have seen the music scene grow and change. Diversity is a strength, but it also brings challenges. Unfortunately, we repeatedly experience that Fair Play is not lived by everyone. Competition turns into hostility, success becomes ego, and social media is used by some to push others down instead of lifting each other up. This behavior is against everything FPCM stands for.
Our rules and structures had to be adjusted over the years – not to control, but to protect. Because where Fair Play is violated, the community suffers. The ones affected the most are the artists who work with heart, respect, and dedication, and who truly love music. They are the reason we continue.
At FPCM, we believe character is more important than applause, integrity is more valuable than trophies, and respect must be the foundation of every collaboration. Every person makes daily decisions that show who they are – even off stage. Fair Play also means taking responsibility: for one’s own behavior, for words, for actions, and for how people treat one another.
FPCM is a platform for music – but above all, it is a platform for values. We open doors for talents from all over the world, but we do so with one condition: Fair Play is non-negotiable. Everyone who is part of this community – or wants to be – carries responsibility for respectful cooperation. Only then can music be what it is meant to be: a connection between people, not a weapon against them.

✨ Two voices, one soul – true hosting excellence.
As the Official Hosts of the Red Carpet Award 2025, Shirley Wijnen from Germany and Rick Stephenson from Canada led the audience through two unforgettable days filled with emotion, elegance and class.
Their natural harmony, strong stage presence and heartfelt respect for every artist made this event truly special. Together, they created magical moments that touched hearts and will be remembered for a long time.
They were supported by a fantastic co-host team who helped make this show shine in every way. On the friday Anna McRose and Victoria Eman from the Netherlands and on the Saturday Cat Lion and Danny Myler from Germany!
The FPCM Media team extend their heartfelt thanks to Shirley Wijnen and Rick Stephenson for their outstanding hosting, their dedication and their positive spirit.

How it all began...
Many, many years ago in 1996,Gaby the co-owner of Fair Play Country Music, had a terrible accident, were she nearly died, she had barely escaped the death, because she and 3 of her colleagues were already suffocating, while working in a dutch company.Pain over pain and treated like dirt, they were treated unfair and nasty and not taken seriously.That's why Gaby wrote to the Dutch queen Beatrix and was heard, because she immediately started an investigation. Gaby got 100% guilty recognition and the company had to pay her, but there were again lawyers, who betrayed her, or they send her bilts and did`t do anything. Then when the company realized that they had to pay for the damage, they got away with it a second time, because the last lawyer had not submitted the papers on time, .... and had even forged documents to cover up that they expired the case...
She knew like no other, what it means to be cheated on and lied to, and above all to lose her health and a lot of money and yet somehow life had to move on. The pain is there and will stay the rest of her life, she has good times and bad times, but with the support of her family and friends everything is possible!In 2009, she met her true love Peter, her current husband, both of them are the perfect match for each other.
Gaby was already for decades in the music busy before her accident and before she met Peter, but together they could make a lot of things happen and so Fair Play Country Music was born and started to give the indie artists worldwide a platform and a voice. They started by printing magazines, so they could see happy artists faces, who once in their life could shine on a cover of a magazine, or inside. These magazines are very special and made in high quality! Not even the mega stars have ever been in such a magazine, because the big bosses in the music scene want to make money, and then this kind of magazine would be far too expensive for them. They could not earn money with it ... but Peter and Gaby think differently, they will never be able to live on their magazines, but they can give others a bit of luck, a bit of a glamorous future and a bit of fame.
In the meantime, they won the 2016 & 2017 Josie Music Awards in Nashville Tennessee, 2016 Award for Best Promotion Company and 2017 Best Magazine.
In February 2017 they were invited to sign into the Golden Book of Nordhorn, the birthplace of Gaby. A celebration with live music and buffet was arranged for them, where they were also allowed to take guests with them and in this festive atmosphere, both signed the golden book for special services. The radio and TV stations, as well as the local newspaper were present and immortalized this moment.
Peter and Gaby have already written 5 books together and after that they started to write songs and right now, in 2019, Gaby received a Golden CD for her song "Driving Home to Alice”, in Collaboration with a Band from Berlin called" Friends of Music ".
The next project was to provide the artists in Holland and worldwide an honest European award show and platform, with Red Carpet for the worldwide artists in the music industry and therefore both decided to go and jump again into the dark, as they did so many times in their life and so we are now looking forward to the 1st Fair Play Country Music Award Show next year in Hotel de Heerlickheijd in Ermelo in Holland.
