The use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPAs) / Drones for private and commercial use continues to grow in Botswana. Help us keep the skies safe by registering to use your drone.

Registration of RPAs is an annual process which includes different fees according to how the RPA will be used.

Private Use- P1050
Commercial Use- P2625
Corporate – P3150
Tourist/ Temporary- P4200

The public is reminded that failure to register your RPA is an offence and may result in your RPA being confiscated and incurring a fine. For more information on the regulations that govern RPA use in Botswana kindly visit: https://www.caab.co.bw/rpa-drone-registration/
