Study with Malawi Institute of Journalism!!
The Malawi Institute of Journalism a leading training institution for professional journalism is inviting applications from both practicing and aspiring journalists into its full –time and weekend Certificate and Diploma Programs for the January –June 2021 semester.
The following are the minimum requirements for each programme:
Certificate Programme
Entry requirements: Applicants into the Certificate programme should be holders of a full Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), with at least four credits including English. Applicants should have an interest in current affairs and a passion for writing.
Diploma Programme
Entry requirements: Applicants into the Diploma programme should be holders of a Certificate in journalism or its equivalent or any related higher qualification from a recognized institution.
Applicants with an equivalent tertiary qualification must also provide a proof of their journalism work such as an article in a publication and a recorded TV or Radio program.
All those interested can obtain application forms from our respective centers, Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.
Blantyre Campus is located in Naperi Township, Lilongwe Campus is in Upland building Next to Crown Hotel and Mzuzu Campus is in Chapita Building next to National Bank.
Application fee is K7, 000.00 which must be deposited into MIJ accounts as Follows:

Remember to attach the application fee deposit slip on the application form.
Closing date for receiving applications is Tuesday 6th November, 2020.
Entrance examinations will be administered in all centers on 13th November 2020.
