Almost 4 feet tall, weighing in at nearly 20 pounds, and a 5 ½ foot wingspan make this male Canadian goose and this mated pair a force to reckon with. His sights are set on the intruding duet of geese off frame. In March the geese will stake claims to beaver ponds and other suitable areas even before the ice is out. The early bird gets the best nest sites for his lucky lady!
