Hello all, PLEASE do Beaufort a HUGE favor AND hop on over to the Port Royal page LIVE NOW starting in just a few minutes at 6:30pm tonight (Wednesday night) and tell them LOUD AND CLEAR why Port Royal is a quaint community with extreme HITORICAL RELEVANCE and not an H.O.A. type town with stringent rules that include EXCLUDING all of Beaufort and other visitors from patroning the Sands, placing ridiculous gated community type stipulations on the home owners there, and pretty much insanely DECREASING town revenue by essentially blocking out a great deal of travelers from being welcomed to view/tour/enjoy this piece of heaven by selfishly placing the much newer (not even local) home owners ideas of PROPERTY VALUE INCREASES *way* over the Port Royal tradition of kindness.

The most important point in my mind as an educator is the HISTORICAL RELEVANCE of this place NOT being dismissed or hoarded by a select few.
"According to Steve Wise, Larry Rowland, and many others Port Royal is already credited as the site of the first European settlement in our state, but is most likely the actual site of the first European settlement in the entire continental United States".

THE TOWN OF PORT ROYAL SHOULD BE TOURABLE BY ANY.

Trust me, this matters in the long run.
