from near Orvil to Callaghan to 5 miles south of Encinal, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Laredo, Encinal, Botines, Unitec Industrial Park, Doctors Hospital Of
Laredo, Laredo Country Club, Ranchos Penitas West, Orvil and
Callaghan.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

..SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED TONIGHT AND SUNDAY...

A strong upper level disturbance combined with a weak frontal
boundary and abundant moisture, will produce showers and
thunderstorms through the overnight hours and into Sunday morning.
Some storms may become severe with the primary threats being damaging
wind and large hail. Isolated tornadoes may be possible as well.

The storms are expected to develop later this evening across
Mexico and move northeast into the Rio Grande Plains. The stronger
storms are expected to move into the Rio Grande Plains around 11
PM CDT to 1 AM CDT. The storms will continue moving east to
northeast through early Sunday morning. The storms are expected to
reach the coast after sunrise through mid to late Sunday morning.

Heavy rainfall will also be possible with the stronger storms.
Rainfall amounts are expected to average between 1 to 2 inches
with isolated higher amounts. Localized flooding may occur,
especially in low lying areas.

Residents should continue to monitor the weather for possible
warnings and be prepared to seek safety if one is issued for your
area.

MCMULLEN COUNTIES...

At 1247 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Freer, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.
