Covered for Cadillac Sounds on Netil Radio on Friday; first hour is an Andrew Weatherall special second is the usual good stuff 👉
Listen to Cadillac w/ The Real Escobar - 19th February 2021 by Netil Radio
Covering for Cadillac Sounds on Netil Radio at 7pm. A show In honour of Andrew Weatherall - the first hour is strictly music from the big man, followed by music from Secretsundaze, Panthera Krause, Tjade, Pablo Bozzi & more.
I won’t pretend like I’ve always been the biggest Weatherall fan - I knew of his name but that was really it. When he passed last year I was really taken back by all the tributes and over the last 12 months there’s probably not an artist I’ve listened to more. Digging through his NTS archive, essential mixes, and a good portion of his discography from his many projects. It’s safe to say, if there’s someone I regret never seeing DJ, or have the chance to work with - It’s him. ⚓️
Excited to be joining the Project Radio crew 🏴
I’ll be on air every third Saturday starting this weekend, got lots of Indie non dance / dance bangers lined up.
Big up Hayden Little on the 📸
Midnight People’s AAJA residency started on Friday and I put together a 100% label only mix.
It was really fun to dig through our discography and feature all the great music we have forthcoming. Humbled by how much the labels grown within a year ❤️
You can listen to show here 👉 https://bit.ly/37m5P4j
Midnight People’s AAJA Deptford residency starts tomorrow 🔊
I wanted our first show to really introduce Midnight People as a label, so I put together 90 minutes of 100% label productions - with the majority being forthcoming releases. To celebrate our next release, Alberto Melloni closes off the last half hour ⏰

Over the last six months The Cause became a bit of a second home for me, at the end of 2020 I was invited by MAS QUE NADA to record a set live from their main room, it’s being streamed tonight at 9pm (GMT), to lift lockdown morale and raise some funds for London’s nightlife during the pandemic. Hope you can tune in 🧔🏻
Tracklist for my recent Paradiso Records podcast, music from Zakmina, Freudenthal of Pardon Moi, Zombies in Miami, Alex Aguayo & more

Chucked together a couple of Spotify playlists which I’ll be updating monthly throughout the year. ‘Record Bag’ currently consists of 50 tunes, mostly my favourite releases of last year and general staples within my radio shows and sets during 2020; filled with lots of high NRG Italo, moody EBM & psychedelic Dark Disco. ‘At Home’ dives into the more chilled side of my taste, lots of Indie, Jazz and Neo-Soul from a mixture of eras. Head to the stories to dive in 🧔🏻

A big thanks to everyone who has supported the label in our first year ❤️⏰
A big thanks to everyone who has supported us in our first year as a label; which is extra humbling considering what a different year 2020 has been for everyone.
A huge shout to Vanity Project, REES, Swales, Vitling, Meg Ward, Rush City, Jive Talk, Remi Wanless, Local Su***de, PADDY & Theo Kottis for releasing with us and helping the label grow.
Also a mention to the likes of DJ Mag, SXDNS, 44,100Hz Social Club, Moskalus for numerous support throughout the year.
Excited to keep bringing you music throughout 2021.
As a thank you, you can use CODE ‘MP2021’ for 20% off any release on our Bandcamp throughout January.
Happy New Year ❤️⏰

A moody and dark mix to see out an equally describable year. Thanks to one of my favourite labels, Paradiso Records for having me on their series. Listen via the link in the comments 👇

Good friend The Real Escobar closes our podcast series for the year with an hour of dark disco and italo selections. Living and breathing electronic music, the London-based artist saw 2020 lay birth to his new label, Midnight People with bright names such as Remi Wanless, Local Su***de, Paddy and Theo Kottis already passing through the discography. Keep an eye on them for 2021, but for the next 60 minutes lend your ears to The Real Escobar.

Want your business to be the top-listed Media Company?
As much of a presence outside of the booth than he is inside it, The Real Escobar has been enjoying his arrival onto the scene and has let his passion for music shine through.
Boasting gigs across the UK and Europe, playing support to names such as Mor Elian, Jonas Kopp & DJ Haus to name a few, it is only recently The Real Escobar has been narrowing down his sound and finding a direction.
2020 has seen him embark on a new journey, Midnight People. Not only a label but brings with it an online community and quickly growing fan-base. Musically it sees a stellar first release featuring Vanity Project, REES & Swales exploring a Nu-Disco, Indie Dance club ready sound.
In what can only seem like an over saturated DJ climate, dedication, passion and persistence will break through.
