I've come to find and said it before that love in its purest form is a decision.

you will and always will encounter conflicts and misunderstandings in every relationship that you will have. whether it's platonic, familial, or a romantic one palagi yan nandiyan. in response, you'll have your doubts, uncertainties, turbulence, and worse, anger. those feelings are valid nonetheless.

sometimes you will not like the person you love in those moments, you wont recognize them. but the moment you decide that "im still going to do my best to exhibit patience, understanding, care, and gentleness. and im still going to do my best to listen and be gentle with you despite of how i'm feeling right now" i think that's love.
