"A Sign of the Times" art exhibition by Kult at Aliwal Urban Art Festival

Dropped by Aliwal Urban Art Festival and checked out the "A Sign of the Times" exhibition by kult. Very cool setup (metal signages mounted on stands) + nice ambience with the music from the live band performances (Sun Eater was performing at the time of recording), graffiti installations nearby (masterminded by Rscls) and equally cool lighting!

In response to social norms and the times we live in, 30 - 40 creatives from the Singapore urban creative community re-interpret instructional metal signs commonly seen on the streets.

"A Sign of the Times" is the second volume of Kult's "From the Streets of Singapore" series, and celebrates the spirit of rebeliion quintessential to street culture.

The exhibition debuts on Aliwal Street on 19 Jan and continues till 4 Feb at the Aliwal Courtyard. The Aliwal Urban Art Festival is part of Singapore Art Week.

Dropped by Sim Lim Square yesterday to check out the on-going Art Residency programme!

Curated by INTERーMISSION as part of Singapore Art Week 2019, the 3 week art residency held in the heart of Singapore's "tech mecca" aims to code and recode perspectives surrounding art, technology and space. Inhabiting a store unit reurposed as an artist studio, the residency offers opportunities to engage with communities and resources at Sim Lim Square to develop new artistic projects.

NTU ADM GRADSHOW 2016 | RAW Camera Ep 14

Here's some video footage from the ADM Show 2016 which had it's opening on 6th May at NTU School of Art, Design and Media (ADM)! Works from all the various majors (Animation, Film, Photography, Interactive Media and Product Design) were up on display. There was also a NTU ADM Alumni Show that was held together with the event as well, which featured notable works from the pioneer batches from ADM. The photobooth setup by Movish proved to be really popular as people were lining up to take special "Moving Picture" photographs (like GIFs). Official website: www.admgradshow.com

Went for my very first Free Comic Book Day in Singapore last week on Saturday! Landed at GnB Comics after going around Kinokuniya and some other shops, and GnB Comics is like some kind of a secret safe haven! Snagged some free issues leftover, spent the next 2 plus hours browsing in peace before happily leaving with a purchase of Batman: The Killing Joke!

P.S. GnB Comics I noticed there was a post on your page that this FCBD is the last for you guys. That's a bummer. :( Hope you guys are still around!

WWE Immortals | Gameplay and Video Recording Quality Test

So I started playing WWE Immortals Game over the WWE WrestleMania weekend last week and I have since not been able to put it down! This game involves lots of grinding to level up your superstars and getting decent gear to do battle. Really dig the Mortal Kombat mashup with the WWE Universe. This video is a recording test done using the record function via the Google Play Games app. This gameplay shows one of the new challenges that has started where players will be rewarded with a Bronze Pack, 15,000 Immortal Credits, a Silver Pack and a Mad Scientist Bray Wyatt Gold card upon completion.

HTC VIVE HILARITY! | RAW Camera Ep 12

This was from a AsiaVR Association meetup on 15th March at NUS Enterprise Blk 71. Developers and VR enthusiasts dropped by to share their projects, ideas and best practices for Virtual Reality development.

Attendees had the chance to try out the Samsung Gear VR to experience interior architectural 3D renderings done by the team at Wooba VR. Others also tried out the Oculus Rift DK2 paired with Razer Hydra controllers to use eye tracking tools developed by Newrocare Pte Ltd. The HTC Vive was also up for anyone to try and have fun, with people trying out Ninja Trainer, Space Pirate Trainer and Tilt Brush . It was super fun seeing all their reactions to something so new! XD
