I want to start out by apologising for the incoming long post and for lack of streams. Long story short, I need to have my kidney removed, my physical health is abysmal and my mental health is not much better. You all deserve my best. And I am the first to say, I am not a streamer - I'm a gamer who sometimes streams for fun and for the company of good, like-minded people ❤️ But that is not why I'm writing today.

Today, I would like to address something that, really, shouldn't even need to be addressed. But here we are. And I am angry that I am even having to take this step. But I won't sit by idly any more while my name and that of my best friend are dragged through the dirt, for no reason other than the fact that this person enjoys drama, playing the victim and putting others down to give themselves some sense of superiority and importance.

I'm not going to name names, because most of you will be able to draw the conclusion by yourselves - I've been called out in very overt ways and even by name so many times... You know. If you don't know, I'm happy that you've not had to endure the dramatics of it all.

I would first off like to say, if I block someone and cut all ties with them, it is for a very good reason. Likely, I've found myself in a situation that is so uncomfortable, it brings on anxiety. As with anyone who removes a person from their lives, I should not have to explain myself or my reasoning to anyone. If contact with someone endangers your physical or mental wellbeing, or in any way shape or form makes you feel uncomfortable, unhappy or anxious, you do not have to be in that situation or explain why to anyone. IT IS YOUR CHOICE.

However, my reason in this particular instance is that, despite trying my best to explain my stance on a situation that was not any of this person's business, they tried to make it their business. They initiated a conversation with the words, "I'd hate to think you were abusing your mod powers," in relation to a situation I had previously discussed with the streamer I moderate for. Again - not their business. This message was either deleted or edited and my response to that has since been used in an attempt to make me look bad. I don't really give a s**t about that. It's petty as hell and doesn't deserve air time. But it's relevant to the story. This person tried to force me into a situation I was not comfortable with (see the paragraph above) and I said no. Once I figured out that this person was never going to shift their view - they thought it was their God given right to be involved, tell me what to do and to have things their way - I decided to just drop it. I was basically talking to a brick wall. This honestly should've been where it all ended. But it was not 🙃

I fell into some tough times mentally after this and I took a break from everything - quite obviously a personal attack 🙃 Again, this person tried to make it their business by going to some of my closest friends, to tell them all about how I need to do things and all about how I was personally attacking them. I believe this is called "manipulation" - trying to spin stories to get people to do what you want.. Something I have been accused of by this person on multiple occasions.

On the topic of manipulation and friends, I am not going to speak for Dani - contrary to what has been said, I have not manipulated or forced her to do anything and any actions I have undertaken on her behalf have been actions she has asked me to undertake. While she and I are best friends and we do have each other's backs through all of this, our issues with this person are VERY separate. It is only through this person's assumptions and belief that they can do no wrong, that we have been "branded by the same iron." She can tell her story, if she feels she wants to.

But being best friends, it should've been quite obvious that, if you talk smack about one of us, we are going to tell the other. Like I said - we have each other's backs. This, coupled with the fact I was dealing with one of my periods of poor mental health, was what lead me to decide to completely cut ties with this person. I was done. I didn't need the drama or stress.

It should've ended there... Again, it did not. I was quite happily going about my life, not even thinking about this person, let alone saying anything about them. It has been nearly 10 months now and during that time, they have made comments, posts, messages and even said things about me during live streams. Things I did not actively go looking for, although I hear quite a few people have been banned, because they were believed to be me under a fake account (paranoia anyone?), but things I found out because friends (real friends) came to me to let me know what was being said.

This is where mine and Dani's stories become one. While there were friends coming to us, there were also people who were not so friendly. People who claimed to not to want drama, but then when we refused to gossip and add any more fuel to a situation we were not even involved in, told us to "act like we don't exist". Most of you know that both Dani and I struggle with our self esteem. That was a low blow. A threat. Bullying plain and simple. We both lost people we considered friends to this. But hey. I guess it helps to know who the real ones are 🤷‍♀️

We also learned something quite disturbing. That apparently we (or more likely, I) had been going around saying this person is a predator. I can 100% assure you that this was never said. This is a very serious accusation to throw around. I don't talk about this at all and no, I will not be elaborating, but having been the victim of a predator as a child, I take this very seriously. It is not something I will accuse people of being without solid proof. And even then, I would not be using streams or "grapevines" as my mode of message delivery. That s**t is serious and, if you have reason to believe you know a predator, REPORT THEM TO THE POLICE. Don't just sit there and gossip about them.

But anyway, we just removed ourselves from that situation, as much as it stung to do so. Because we did not want that drama. We dealt with passive aggressive bulls**t and people being absolute trolls while we tried to just build ourselves and our mental health back up. We kept quiet about it all. What's the point of feeding the drama?

As of writing this post, I have just been called out for the umpteenth time. Everyone knows it was referring to me. That's how I heard about it - a friend saw it and went "wtf?!" I'm beyond angry now, that this person is up on their high horse STILL, when they should've just taken the hint, dropped it and MOVED ON with their life. Instead they grasp at any scrap they can find, trying to relate drama back to me. I hate to break it to you mate, but my life does not revolve around you - I rarely think of you, other than when these pieces of dramatic news make their way back to me.

I am going to call this person's behaviour out for what it is - BULLYING. Using a position of power in a community in an attempt to isolate, exclude or harm (physically or emotionally) another person. I honestly thought I'd escaped the bullies when I finished highschool, nearly 20 years ago. This person has been narcissistic, toxic and manipulative to no end and honestly, they really need to go take a long hard look at themselves and the way they act towards other people. They are not the victim here. I also refuse to be the victim. This situation - having to tiptoe around things, lest we say something that might maybe possibly in some obscure way relate to this person, hearing awful things about ourselves and putting up with some of the vile and hateful things people have said to us - has affected my mental health so much and it's just not okay. For something that is LITERALLY NOTHING but someone being butthurt over being told no, it has had a major impact on me. But I refuse to let it impact me any more.

A shout out to you who have read through all of this - thank you ❤️ And a message to leave you with - f**k that saying about words never hurting.. Words are our greatest weapon and can have long lasting affects on people. So, if you don't have kind or nice things to say, just shut the f**k up. It's not worth the drama or the harm you may cause another human being.
