British producer Marma presents the ‘Murray Mints’ EP, out now on the label.

Written upon leaving Amsterdam to explore a new adventure in Australia after living in the Dutch capital for many years, the tracks are inspired by a longing to dance with friends once again in Europe; tinged delicately with euphoria, nostalgia and melancholy. The EP opens with its title track ‘Murray Mints’. A retro-futuristic jam which effortlessly meshes motifs of Italian cosmic disco, old school balearic and progressive house with clever sampling for an expertly crafted dance floor weapon.

Wrapping up the double pack is ‘Yesterday Is Gone’ which utilises gated vocals and big organs aligned with a groovy bassline for a second serving of club ready madness.

Jennifer Cardini’s imprint Correspondant return with their fourth installment of the ’Numéro’ series with contributions from respected luminaries of the scene Sarah Wild, David Kochs & Raphael Schön, Keith Holland and DC Salas.

Numéro 4 kicks off with the tone setting, progressive Italo-dance adjacent anthem ‘Ready To Fly’ by Sarah Wild Up next is David Kochs & Raphael Schoen collaboration on ’Sweet In Mind’ which merges the pairs signature sounds into an emotive, versatile track playable in multiple contexts. Keith Holland’s ‘Arte’ effortlessly blends classic 90s house motifs with a modern touch. Closing out the impressive four track is Belgium’s DC Salas and ‘Moving Shadows’.

We’re really pleased to have Chloé Robinson & DJ ADHD bringing the sound of London to this EP. Following acclaimed collab EPs and explosives mixes blending techno, electro, grime and UK garage, the impeccable pair got their hands on BABY and delivered a bass-heavy, incredibly infectious club banger.

And to wrap things up, Melbourne selector, producer, remixer and rising star Aldonna brings her always thrilling groove to DISCO, flawlessly throwing balearic heat, prog house euphoria, and touches of acid-trance to the mix.

Producer, DJ, sound engineer based in Brussels, she’s a Kiosk Radio resident and co-founder of the Q***r Future Club parties.

AZO is at the forefront of the new acid scene, infusing this iconic sound with techno and rave energy inherited from the Uk hardcore and Detroit techno era.

“Aquatrip (under the bridge)” is a fast paced track with percussive rhythms, a psychedelic 303 and concrete wall reverb. The track is dedicated to the rave culture in which Azo debuted while being surrounded by friends fighting to preserve the acid culture, underground music, and freedom to party. It was during a mixing session at GreenHouse studio that the sound engineer (Jean Vanesse) removed all the synths from the original and stated: “in fact, we just need acid & drums”.
