“You’d be hard pressed to find a band that grooves better or more consistently than these guys do, it’s really something to behold.”—The Rock Doctor
“Perfectly master of its music and its sound, the 11 Guys Quartet combines blues and rock with great elegance and takes the opportunity to serve us one of those albums that we will remember for a long time.”—ZicaZic
“I enjoy every note played as 11 Guys Quartet showcase their abundant talent and collective experience. 11 x 11 surely sits among my favorite albums of the year.”
—Phillip Smith
“What is, at its core, a classic blues band sound is transformed into a palette for tasty instrumental exploration in the hands of this talented foursome. Energy abounds on a tune stack that emits freshness track after track. Key to the proceedings are the hearty play of harmonica man Richard Rosenblatt and the multiple voicings of guitarist Paul Lenart.”—RMR
“…they return in style – and add a couple of vocals, too – with this rock-solid collection of tradition but contemporary tunes. 11 Guys Quartet will keep you bopping along with this one. It’s a whole lot of fun.”
—Blues Blast
“‘11 X 11' by 11 Guys Quartet is a very enjoyable album by a more than excellent band.”—Concert Monkey
“Friends and bandmates from the Boston music scene since the ‘70s, the oddly named 11 Guys Quartet delivered a pleasing all-instrumental album, Small Blues and Grooves, in 2020 after a 35-year break from the studio. And they return in style – and add a couple of vocals, too – with this rock-solid collection of traditio

John Primer & Bob Corritore / Crawlin’ Kingsnake
This is the fourth collaboration album for John Primer and Bob Corritore. John and Bob always have had the Chicago spark as was evident on their first release together of 2013, and on each release since. But this particular album feels like a new height has been achieved.
There is a simultaneous, rocking forcefulness, while also exhibiting an uninhibited, gliding easiness. This album also features arguably the best possible A team for Chicago blues! With Bob Stroger on the bass, Jimi Primetime Smith on second Guitar, Anthony Geraci on the piano, and Wes Starr on drums, this band sounds like the Muddy Waters band of decades ago! Both Primer and Corritore appear at the top of their game, with Primer recently inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame, as well as numerous award wins, and a Grammy nomination. Likewise, Corritore has been actively hitting the European festival circuit, released five critically acclaimed
albums in 2023, was the subject of numerous articles and received numerous nominations, and a number of wins. But all of that is secondary to what happens in the studio, and what you have in your hand is a powerful straight-ahead album of sacred Chicago blues done by two artists who have devoted their entire lives to the purity of the blues.
💿 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐀𝐋𝐁𝐔𝐌 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐍𝐎𝐖! Patti Parks new album featuring Johnny Rawls COME SING WITH ME is out today! 🔥 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐁 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐏𝐘: https://ffm.to/ppsingl87qmrg
VizzTone proudly presents its second album from Patti Parks. A soulfully uplifting singer, Patti is a multi-award-winning vocalist and Buffalo Music Hall of Fame inductee, COME SING WITH ME was produced by Soul-Blues Legend Johnny Rawls, who also teams with Patti on two duets - the aching ballad “I’m In Love With You Baby,” written by Rawls and Patti’s husband Guy Nirelli, and Johnny’s midtempo southern swing with a Shag Dance feel, “How Much Longer”.
Patti’s stunning, sensual and warm voice soars over tracks where blues, Memphis Soul, Gospel and Carolina Swag simmer together creating an explosive recording . The songs were carefully selected by Patti to create a combination of music with clever lyrics, memorable rhythms, and uplifting vocals. In addition to Rawls, the tracks feature several guest artists to enhance the set: Renowned pianist Anthony Geraci gives an epic performance on “DJ’s Boogie,” which Ms Parks performs as a show stopping feel good dance tune. “Hamburger Man,” a burning slow blues laced with light hearted double entendre, features Richard Rosenblatt on harmonica, and the title track, “Sing Around the World” carries it’s impactful message of love, life and spirit with the help of gospel recording artists, accompanying vocalist Kamira Lattimore and organist Aaron Blackmon.
Patti is also a dedicated working nurse, and has received national recognition for “Nurse’n Blues” the unique therapeutic program she founded in 2015. As a performer and a nurse, Patti understands the healing power of the blues, and COME SING WITH ME delivers the message with strength and style.

Chuck, Paul, Rosy and Bill have been playing together since before dirt.
Friends and bandmates since the 1970s, they formed the 11th Hour Band to play the blues hot spots in and around Boston and New England, and were regulars at the legendary Speakeasy in Cambridge, MA, the local home to blues greats like Hubert Sumlin, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Otis Rush, Albert Collins, Eddie Shaw, Roosevelt Sykes and more. Paul Lenart had already toured Europe as a member of T Bone Walker's band in the American Folk Blues tour, featuring Big Mama Thornton, Memphis Slim, Big Joe Williams, and Robert Pete Williams; Chuck was a member of Van Morrison's early band before joining and recording with the Colwell-Winfield Blues Band; and Chuck, Paul and Billy Mather were all members of the early James Montgomery Band. Richard "Rosy" Rosenblatt played with the likes of Billy Colwell, John Lee Hooker, Sunnyland Slim, Hubert Sumlin and others while he was starting to tinker with tape recorders in his basement and getting ready to launch Tone-Cool Records. in 1985 the 11th Hour Band's "Hot Time in The City Tonight" became the label's flagship release, soon to be followed by another 50 or so releases by artists like Monster Mike Welch, Toni Lynn Washington, Susan Tedeschi, the North Mississippi Allstars and more.
Paul, Chuck, Bill and Rosy continued to play together off and on for the next few decades. They all stayed busy with other pursuits, musical and otherwise, but their unique musical chemistry and friendship kept bringing the “11 Guys” back to their original quartet.
Around 2008 they decided to go into the studio to record some original instrumentals — straight-ahead, unadorned live t

Bob Margolin gives THANKS to celebrate 50 years since he joined Muddy Waters Band. He plays the same Gibson archtop electric guitar that he played next to Muddy and The Band in The Last Waltz on one song by Muddy, one co-written with Muddy, one by The Band, three by Chicago Blues legends Bob knew, and four old Bob songs inspired to new fire. Steady rollin’ on,
Bob honors his legendary friends with love and the weight of experience. Bob produced, performed, mixed and mastered every note of this album.
Bob tells us: “After playing seven years with Muddy, six months later I opened a show for him. After an encore of Little Walter’s ‘Just Keep Lovin’ Her,’ which came out in 1949, like me, Muddy got up from the dressing room couch, put his hands on my shoulders, and told me, ‘I
haven’t heard that song in 30 years. You’re keeping the Old School alive!’ It’s the deepest compliment I’ve ever gotten. I love Old School Chicago Blues and live to play it.
“It was a surprise thrill starting in 2016 to play on celebrations of The Last Waltz with an all-star family of today’s finest musicians. I played Muddy’s “Mannish Boy” song and it went over so well I was asked to play more Blues. I loved playing with the amazing musicians and listening to their versions of songs by The Band and their guests at the Last Waltz. One honored special guest we had in November, 2019 was the recently-departed Robbie Robertson, guitarist and songwriter from The Band. When I saw him for the first time since 1976, he observed correctly, ‘We don’t look like that anymore.’ Then Robbie and I kinda time traveled to the 1976 Last Waltz rehearsals for Muddy’s songs, how Muddy’s magnetism both drew in and scared the other musicians, and how Paul Butterfield had cr
