The Meg Robinson Show A podcast exploring the stories that make us who we are.

So I have a confession to make which will not come as a shock to any of you. I am challenged by social media. My last post was in July of this year, and since then several more episodes have been published I am currently working on another series which I hope will be released within the next few weeks.

I have realized that the most important goal of my podcasting is to connect with other people. This was also true in my work as a composer--the most gratifying aspect of creating music has always been the impact of that music on others. So if you have listened to an episode, and it had some kind of impact on you, I would love to know about it!

For instance, I did a recent episode entitled "Breaking Free," in which the subject is family estrangement. Ann, a therapist, describes her personal experience with this issue, and also talks about the subject as a therapist. I picked this topic because I have also experienced estrangement and share my journey in the form of a song at the end of this episode. A man from England had heard this interview and took the time to write and let me know how much it helped him in dealing with his estrangement from his own mother. Knowing that I had helped him deal with this challenge meant everything to me, motivating me to continue producing episodes that have the potential to touch other peoples' lives.

My most recent episode, "Angel in Flight," reveals how one person can change the lives of thousands of others through sheer determination and compassion.

So as I continue my podcasting journey, I hope to hear from you and look forward to connecting on a deeper level.

Yesterday, I released a four-part series called "Diary of an FBI Agent." I interviewed Walter Lamar, Native American, who was one of only two agents in the history of the FBI to have been awarded the Shield of Bravery. Listen to his stories of growing up on a reservation, becoming an agent, being part of a SWAT team during the 51-day siege in Waco, Texas. He was also one of the first responders at the Oklahoma City bombing. The stories are gripping. Tune in.
