In a bowl, using a spoon, mix 1 cup of oat flour with 1 ripe banana and 1/3 cup plant milk (or more) to rich thick but still runny batter consistency, cook with no oil using a non-stick pan. That’s it!

Last weekend I was lucky to try Sunday Roast and Oh My God it was delicious!

Frankie & Becky are so passionate about vegan dishes they create, that you can literally taste their love when eating at BA-HA.

We had:

1️⃣ Jack Mc Guiness Slice — a jackfruit meaty slice marinated in a Guinness stock and red onion, creamy mash, roasties, homemade stuffing balls, red wine gravy, sautéed greens and mixed vegetables.

2️⃣ King of Roasts — golden crispy king oyster mushroom with garlic butter, creamy mash, roasties, homemade stuffing balls, res wine gravy, sautéed greens and mixed vegetables.

Do you wanna become an influencer, but don’t know where to start? This post is for you!

1️⃣ First things first, ask yourself this question:

👉🏼 Why do I want to become an influencer?

If you can’t give a clear answer to this question, take some time to figure it out. Write your answers down. Then pick the ones that resonate with your values the most.

Don’t start your IG blog because “everyone else is doing it”. Utilize your UNIQUENESS and share it with others from day 1.

2️⃣ Understand that being an influencer is a serious job, that is similar to other professions in terms of workload and a level of responsibility. So if you decide to be an influencer, you need to take yourself seriously and fully commit to this job.

3️⃣ Find your niche.

Niching down is essential in positioning yourself as an “expert” from day 1. If you are super-clear on what your write about, what kinda photos you take, what your content pillars are, it’ll be so much easier to produce quality content.

4️⃣ Develop your brand identity.

Your brand identity consists of: nickname, profile photo, bio, story highlights, and feed aesthetics.

Nickname should be unique and easy to remember. Profile photo should clearly show your face and reflect the theme of your account. Bio should clearly state what you do and what kind of content you create. Story highlights should match your feed aesthetics.

5️⃣ Create content consistently.

Start with 3 days a week and after you’ve mastered this schedule, you can start posting more often. If you missed a day or two, don’t quit posting for weeks. Just re-think your content schedule, dedicate time to create it and get back to it.

6️⃣ Don’t post and ghost!

I see a lot of people post a photo and totally peace out right after. That’s not something you wanna do if you’re just starting out. Spend at least 30 min after posting to engage with people liking and commenting on the photo. If you don’t have many followers just yet, go and engage with content that is similar to yours.

If you’re someone, who often finds yourself out of energy, then you should consider swapping your normal lunch/dinner to a vitamin-packed buddha bowl!

Here’s what you’ll need to make it perfect:

1️⃣ Veggies - fresh or cooked

2️⃣ Starches - rice, buckwheat, quinoa, potatoes, pasta, etc.

3️⃣ Proteins - tofu, tempeh, beans, lentils, chickpeas, peas, etc.

UNMUTED 🖤 Inclusivity Pledge

Last week I paused my content and took this time to learn and listen.

Before that I never thought of racism as something that happened every day everywhere in the World. I was blinded by my white privilege.

Today I am aware of the problem and willing to fight it by applying all the things I’ve learned to everything I do as an influencer and content creator.

This is my promise to you:

1️⃣ For any sponsored campaigns, gifted products, events and other collabs I will ask whether diversity is taken into account when selecting the influencers. If not, I’ll provide a list of Black creators to approach.

2️⃣ I will incorporate educational information about racism and social-inequality in my usual content plan.

3️⃣ I will create and update a directory of Black-owned Vegan-friendly Food Businesses in the UK.

4️⃣ I will continue to educate myself and have conversations with my family and friends about institutional racism and things we can do to dismantle it.

I don’t feel comfortable posting my usual food content like nothing wrong is going on in the world right now.

This past week has been eye-opening for me, in a horrible way...

My heart was shattered over the injustices the black community faces all over the World.

I was not realizing all the awful things that happen to BIPOC every day because I never had to deal with it myself.

In these recent days I’ve learned a lot about my white privilege. I now understand that I benefit from the system that is BASED on white supremacy, which means that I can never be fully objective when expressing my thoughts about it...

But I am willing to take action anyway!

I‘ve shared everything I learned with my friends and family. I donated to . I also crafted an art work to support BIPOC, but decided not to put it out there, because I think that now is the time to give space to black creators.

I will help to by taking part in the initiative created by & .msrd and pausing all the content in my feed until 7 June so I can take this time to learn and have a better understanding of racism and ways I can help dismantle it EVERY DAY!

I am also going to attend a peaceful protest in Birmingham, Victoria Square on June 4th at 4pm, because I wanna be actively anti-racist in my local community as well.

From one person to another, we need to do more than just post!

We need to have hard conversations. We need to challenge every single family member and friend. We need to actively support organisations that fight racism. We need to give space to BIPOC to speak up. We need to work on ourselves EVERY SINGLE DAY!

I’ve created a highlight ‘BLM’ to gather all the helpful information that I found on IG about ways to help and educate yourself. Please take time and learn how you can do better. Because if we really wanna change this, we need to start with ourselves.

If you’ve been looking for a sign to step outside of your comfort zone and finally take charge of your life, THIS IS IT.

BUT…

To actually be able to do it and do it well, you first gotta check on yourself.

If you’re always out of energy and can’t focus on one thing for 5 minutes, it’ll be extremely hard for you to take any sustainable action toward your goals.

Energy management is everything!

When you’re full of energy, you do your best work, answers come easily, projects get done faster, you find yourself in a flow, things seem less stressful, your mood is elevated, and you finish your day feeling energized!

To feel this way, you have to REGENERATE your energy reserves!

I love to dedicate one full day a week to rest my body and mind. On days like that I don’t work on any creative projects, nor do I do any admin work. Instead I stretch, meditate, watch my favorite movies, have long walks — do everything else BUT work!

If you purposefully plan your rest days this way, you’ll avoid feeling overwhelmed and burned out in the future.

So, that’s a reminder for you — TAKE SOME TIME OFF if you haven’t yet done it this week. And then start off feeling energized and ready to smash it 👊🏼🔥

SELF-CARE SUNDAY CHECKLIST 👇🏼

SAVE IT to take your Sundays to the next level!

✅ Start your day with a good glass of water to wake up your body.

✅ Take your vitamins — I supplement with B12 and D3.

✅ Take a bath / shower — feeling fresh is a good start.

Definitely wash your hair — sometimes I go DAYS without washing it 🙈 (especially now when I’m staying home ALL DA TIME) but there’s nothing that lifts your self-esteem faster than clean, shiny and well-treated hair.

Expand your daily skincare routine by going a little EXTRA on Sundays — apply a scrub to your body, face and lips; do multiple masks; put on eye patches etc.

✅ Have a nourishing breakfast that not only will satisfy your cravings, but will also give you good energy to spend during the day. Eat mindfully, without distractions to fully feel and appreciate your food. I normally go for:

- Chickpea omelette with veg + Soy Latte
- Tofu scramble with veg + Soy Latte
- Oat pancakes with berries + Americano

✅ Put on comfy clothes — THE COMFIEST! I usually go for my super-soft pyjama pants and an XL tshirt.

✅ Have a short stretching session to warm up your body — I love to do a Full Body Stretch from head to toes (you can easily find tutorials on YT).

✅ Clean something — but don’t make huge plans of cleaning the whole house (unless that’s what you wanted to do in the first place).

Every time I set a goal of cleaning the s**t out of my house I end up doing nothing. So I always START SMALL and see where it takes me without any expectations (to avoid disappointment).

✅ Do you favorite thing to CHILL — I love reading or watching YT. When I don’t feel like doing anything at all, I watch Netflix — sometimes I get so inspired I stop the episode in the middle and go act on some ideas I got from it.

🎁 I was kindly some amazing vegan & cruelty-free self-care products from and after using them for a couple of weeks I AM A FAN! Not only are their bars eco-friendly (NO PLASTIC and NO nasties in ingredients), they made my hair SO SHINY and full of VOLUME — I am obsessed!

START MAKING MONEY ON INSTAGRAM WITH THESE INFLUENCER APPS 💰

I will never forget how I made my first £90 in November 2018 by promoting APPLES in one of my posts 🤯

I could not believe that someone would pay £90 (~$111) for a photo on Instagram. Plus I received a box of apples for free! Whaaat!?

That one post completely changed my mindset about making money online.

So today I wanna share my go-to apps, in which I make almost a quarter of my monthly income, so that you can do the same👇🏼

1️⃣ TAKUMI — Instagram & Tik-Tok Influencer app.

It’s free, but you have to have >1K followers to be accepted to this platform. Influencers are custom-picked by team. You will receive a notification when you are chosen and then you can either Accept or Decline the offer after reading an info brief.

You can be PAID anything from £50 - £1200+ per post depending on your following. Money will reach your bank account in 3-7 working days after posting.

If you’re accepted for a particular campaign, you’ll receive a product free of charge. It can be anything from APPLES 😁 to a Brand New Washing Machine (seriously!)

2️⃣ TRIBE — Instagram (mainly), Twitter & Facebook Influencer app.

It’s also free to download, but you have to have >3K genuine followers to start using the app. Once approved, you’ll see a timeline of many different live campaigns you can pick from.

You set YOUR OWN PRICE yourself, but normally influencers with 3K - 10K followers charge £50 - £100 per post. After setting the price, you then submit the content to brands for their review. They then accept or decline.

The rate of rejections is quite high in this app — but it’s really all about QUALITY and ORIGINALITY of your content — I once was accepted for the campaign that required creators to have 100K+ followers, just because the brand loved my content.

You can earn anywhere from £50 - £350+ per post depending on your following and get paid literally 48h after posting.

👉🏼 There are many different ways to start making money on IG, but they WON’T WORK if you’re just sitting around and dreaming. MESSY ACTION is what you need to start — so just freaking DO IT already!

3 TIME-SAVING FOOD HACKS ⏳

Couple of weeks ago I started paying attention to how I spent my days and I was surprised to find out that the single most time-consuming activity I did every day was COOKING…

I was spending hours on end trying to brainstorm healthy cooking ideas every single day, three times a day 😂 and then I’d spend even more time to shop for ingredients, prep all the food and cook it on the daily!

After taking my time to process and imagine all the cool things I could have done instead, I decided enough was enough! So I made a plan and started implementing it.

Here is my TOP 3 TIME-SAVING FOOD HACKS that worked magic:

1️⃣ BATCH-COOKING AT THE MOST CONVENIENT TIME

Reduce your cooking time to minimum by BATCH-COOKING in the evenings, so that you have all the food you need for the next couple of days without needing to break your Focus Hours during the day.

2️⃣ GROCERY SHOPPING WITH A LIST ONCE A WEEK

Plan out your main meals and start to strategically shop for ingredients once or twice a week only, not every day!

3️⃣ SORTING OUT SNACKS IN ADVANCE

Plan all your snacks a night before. Just have them all prepped in a special “snack bowl” on your desk.

HOW TO START WORKING WITH BRANDS RIGHT NOW👇🏼

I know that many of YOU are trying to grow your Instagram Blogs. I also know how hard it can be at times.

I spent almost a year trying to figure out what to write about, when to post, how to take photos, what equipment to use…etc. etc. etc. But it wasn’t until the moment I did my first brand promotion, that I realized I had potential to make money online.

So I wanna share TWO KEY STEPS that you need to take to START working with brands right now. Let’s go!

1️⃣ CREATE A MEDIA KIT

Media Kit is a document that contains information about you and your blog.

✅ Use Canva (desktop or mobile) to create your media kit — tweak their basic templates, pick colors, fonts, etc. — they have all the free tools you need.

✅ Include your Audience’s Demographics (age, gender, locations…)
⠀⠀
✅ Don’t forget to mention the brands you worked with in the past, if there are any.

✅ Add visual content — photos of you or any posts you are proud of. You can even include a screenshot of your whole feed.

2️⃣ WRITE A PITCH EMAIL

✅ Research the Brand you wanna work with FIRST! Find out their core values, influencers they work with atm / worked with in the past, products you would like to promote the most, a specific name you can use to address the email…etc.

✅ Write an email & attach your Media Kit.

Example:

Hi [Their Name],
I am just reaching out to say that I absolutely love [Brand].
One of my favorite products is [Product], because [Reason].
I regularly post about your brand on my blog [Name + Link], where I cover a range of topics such as [Short description of your Blog].
I would love to work with you on promoting [Product] and would love to hear your collaboration ideas.
Please find my Media Kit attached down below.
Thank you.
[Your Name]

✅ Work for free first (in exchange for products & services) to gain experience and testimonials from Brands.

One of the things I set myself to do while on lockdown is learning how to cook hearty meals from scratch 👩🏻‍🍳

Here’s a healthy Udon Stir-Fry with yummy teriyaki jackfruit from . Made with veg leftovers from the fridge and a 2 month old pack of Udon noodles that I totally forgot about 😁 yes, I’m cleaning out my cupboards!

Chop up 1 onion and 3 cloves of garlic and fry in a wok or any large pan on medium high heat for 5 min. Grab any veggies you like, chop them all up, place in a pan and cook for about 10 min until soft. Make a sauce while it’s cooking (use a jar with a lid to mix all the sauce ingredients) — shake 1/4 cup soft brown sugar, 1/4 cup water & juice of 1 lemon. Add sauce to the pan and cook for 5 more minutes. Then add your Udon Noodles (cook separately according to the instructions on the package) to the pan and mix! That’s it! Top with fresh cilantro and chopped peanuts 👌

Being at home all the time means many of us are ordering takeaway food more than usual and I am no exception to that trend🍕 But how do we get rid of all the cardboard in the most sustainable way? Simple: we recycle it!

Cardboard is 100% recyclable, renewable, reusable, and biodegradable material. After recycling, its fibres are used again and again and the same goes for cardboard pizza boxes and you don’t even need to worry about light grease stains from the pizza — they will get recycled anyway! All you need to do is not forget to get rid of all the pizza leftovers, flatten the box and fit it in your recycling bin — easy as ABC!
