AJAOKUTA LAND RECLAIM. A CASE OR CURSE..................In fact, I was touched psychologically when the news of the present ownership of the land got to me as being the stand and the judgment of the high Court sitting in lokoja on the 2nd,June, 2020. Well, I ve long been expecting this because right from the moment Ebira Nation so divided by clannish sentiment, this probably is the prize we must pay for it.What do you expect when we have to come together and fight for our rights and the enemies of our land but keep pursuing unnecessary things. And our leaders are so myopic both in education and exposure to see beyond today. All they pursue is grassroot politics and traditional title holdings which do not put food on the Masses table. Where are our political and traditional leaders when the matter like this was being pending in the court? Weren't they been served court sermons and proceedings, regarding the disputed land? What are their historical evidences as to back the case that we are the original owners of the land? Well, i reserve my comments till they do the right thing before the appellate court would hear the appeals.
