Okey dokey. I've kind sorted out what I want to do with The GeekSpin.

First off: Total reboot start the numbering all over again. Been too long to continue the numbering anyway I think. Plus a slight name tweak and shiny new twist on the original logo.

Second: Tweak the format. 12-20min or so. (can run over/under if need be) Keep the geeky-type music but also include some stuff like movie reviews, geek rants, essays on the geek culture lifestyle ect ect. Literally just about any type of 2-5ish min segment dealing with geek culture. (a geek's "spin" on things if you will)

Third: Solo shows are way too hard (big kudos to those of you who CAN pull that off...I sure can't) So I'd like to enlist the help of all the great podcasters and other folks from the community that I have worked with over the years. It would be great to have different voices on the show, and if folks are contributing their own segments or bits, then it avoids the problem of trying to schedule a recording around various time zones and across different countries.

What do you guys think? Comments? Suggestions? Any takers? Please let me know!

New episodes should be coming again very soon! Being unemployed (and the general funk that goes with it), the job search, and now getting settled into a new job has kept me away from my geeky little side-project!

In the works for the rest of the year at least one or two regular episodes (maybe a special double-length episode instead of two singles), the return of the geeky Christmas Music holiday themed show, and then capping it all off with something new....the Best of 2011 show with the poll winning song from each episode as voted on by YOU the listener!
