Each episode will feature a guest who has fled from conflict, persecution, or hardship in their home country and embarked on a journey to a new land. These are their stories – stories of courage, resilience, and determination in the face of incredible challenges.
Through intimate and personal conversations, we will hear about the reasons that drove these individuals to leave everything they knew behind and undertake a perilous journey to an unknown destination. We will learn about the struggles they faced along the way, including physical dangers, language barriers, and discrimination. And we will discover the moments of hope and humanity that kept them going, even in the darkest of times.
