The Record Shop Radio Show The Record Shop is a weekly music show that shines a light on new and vintage album tracks, EP’s and singles. Cat x

The show focuses on many different genres of music, handpicking the best songs just for you. Hello folks, I'm Cat and for the past ten years I have presented and produced The Record Shop radio show on Gateway97.8. The show is broadcast every Tuesday night on FM and online at www.gateway978.com.The show for me is like a love letter to the second hand record shops where I spent most of my spare time

when I was growing up. This show came about due to the fact that so many of my favourite record shops have closed down and I wanted to do something to keep the spirit of going out there and finding music alive. My love of Independent record labels also inspired me and continues to do so.There are so many great records old and new that deserve to get played and thats what I try to do on this show.
