David Mwanzia was born in Machakos, Kenya on April 19, 1991 to a preacher and his wife. Various members of David’s family have been involved in media and ministry and that inspired him to pursue such a career. When David was 4 years old he and his family migrated to the United States and landed in Ashland, Ohio. His father, a minister, went to graduate from Ashland Seminary with a degree in theolo

gy. Upon completion of his father’s degree his family relocated and spent for short time in Cleveland, Ohio. In September 2002, David moved to Columbus and since then he has networked and worked closely with a multitude of individuals. He attended and graduated from Groveport Madison high school and Fairfield Career Center. After completing his associate’s degree at Columbus State, David graduated from Franklin University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and he intends to go back for his master’s degree. His raw, unfiltered style of talk are his signature trademarks. In his spare time, David loves traveling, trying new foods and meeting new people. Family and culture are very important to David because he believes that we should learn from our history because if we don’t we are doomed to repeat it.
