She is one of the senior rescued dogs we have in our care. Hit and ran victim and afterwards beaten by a wood plank as a witness narrates. She was left for dead, can’t stand, walk nor crawl. She obtained a broken pelvis. It made it painful for her to defecate and she would cry everytime. Vet said she needed surgery but would be too risky since she is in her golden years. I never gave up on her, did therapy everyday, even swimming to make her legs stronger. Then she was able, she even can run and hopped. But there will be circumstances that we cannot control like her old age. It has become her weakness again so I opted to create makeshift wheelies for her. It’s not much but I know it will help.
We make sure we always #feedthehungry but if you guys have an extra space in your hearts and homes, these babies need it. 🫶🏻
