The Rotten Apple Foundation started as a concert, under the name of "The Rotten Apple Festival" taken place in Baton, North Carolina in the summer of 2016. After the success of the event, the original crew began to form an idea. An idea towards the spread of music, and the right to perform it on stage for friends and new people, as well as other musicians. The idea of The Rotten Apple Foundation,

is to bring musicians together. To give them a place to share their music freely, and away from judgement. RAF will create shows, and book local and touring bands at a selection of venues in the area of Caldwell County.
