Old Sacramento's Big Mardi Gras Party is underway now! Check out this clip of Peligro Brass getting down on the stage. The event has stellar gumbo, gator bites in spicy French mustard, warm powered beignets, catfish and barbecued gator ribs, as well as Creole and Brazilian cocktails. Mick Martin’s Big Blues Band at 5 p.m., the Dirty Chops Brass Band plays at 6:30 p.m., BeaufunK, featuring Michael Jeffries of Tower of Power, plays at 8:30 p.m. and Samba Da plays at 10 p.m. The party is happening under the freeway near the Old Waterfront. Tickets $20 at gate.
