I’ve been really struggling with Belle recently and I feel riddled with guilt for even thinking it never mind saying it… but it’s been hard to enjoy her company. I’ve felt like I’ve been walking on egg shells, and that she is like a ticking time bomb, how mad a two year old can make you feel like that? 🤯

She’s has been amazing today though, like her usual old happy Belle. It’s been so so lovely I’ve taken so many photos and videos to remind me that when she is having a bad day, it’s just a bad day ❤️ I suppose I’m telling you all to hang on in there and ride the wave with your children if they are challenging you like my dolly is ✨

Ad| With such sensitive and dry skin it’s really hard to find a skincare product and routine that works for me.

We are on day four of no dummy and I couldn’t be prouder of our dolly 🥰 It wasn’t planned to ditch it I thought I had left it at home when in London .. turned out I hadn’t but thought she had managed the first night with no tears so I thought what’s one more night! Then here we are day four dummy free. We stopped the dummy during the day around 15 months, it really didn’t matter to me that she had it on a night! Whatever helps her sleep 😂🙌🏼
That’s how no dummy, no bottles and turning two this month, I think I’ve passed the stage I can call her baby? 😭 if your little ones had a dummy how did you get rid of it? I chopped the end off Finns 😂

Ad| Get them outside 🌿🐿🍂

Did you know more than 2/3rds of parents find it hard to get their 6 - 16 year olds outside? And honestly I’ve witnessed the struggle! Finn would happily play on his game console all day and wouldn’t suggest leaving the house if it wasn’t for me!
But the outdoors is so good for our children (and us) and brings so many benefits! I didn’t know this, but spending more time outdoors is proven to lower their risk of developing Myopia (short-sightedness in children).

My two have always been book worms they get so excited when we have a new book to add to the bookcase. To be honest so do I 😂 it’s nice not to read the same book day and night!

We started celebrating Mothers Day early with a lovely meal from it was a lovely way to spend time together and enjoy our favourite classic dishes!

Frankie & Bennys is having a little fun this Mother’s Day and wants to know any mum confessions you may have 🙈 So here is mine.. Finn doesn’t like chocolate but I don’t tell people that, because if I did they would stop buying him selection boxes and Easter eggs that I enjoy eating when the kids are in bed 🤣

There was no stress shopping this Mother’s day trying to find the perfect gift because I shopped at Tesco! I went in for a gift for Mum but also came out with a gift for myself from the kids!

offer a Priority Service Register which is in place to support customers who may be vulnerable and need additional support. This is a fantastic and super helpful service BUT with a lot of services, people try take advantage with bogus phone calls! Is there anything more annoying?!

To help keep you safe and spot signs of a bogus call, Yorkshire Water produced a video which tested my ability to spot the tell-tale signs of a bogus caller. This was super helpful as it gave me ideas I wouldn’t have even thought to look out for… Especially when faced with them on the spot! For example, checking the Yorkshire website to see if they are actually working in my area.

Oh I could get used to a cheeky spa break during the week 🧖‍♀️
I was invited to for the day and had the most relaxing day being pampered with treatments, drinks and good food. Couldn’t recommend enough I’ll be back soon that’s for sure! 🤍🧖‍♀️

Five nights in mummy and daddy’s bed, a dozen baths, two carpet cleans AND a new mattress. Dare I say it.. I think we are over the Norovirus 🤞🏼 and if my kids don’t throw up for the next 5 years then that will be too soon 😂
