Rearranged my home studio last week and did some upgrades. Rewired all my gear for the first time since moving out to Portland. I’ve been loving using some of my outboard while mixing in the box with hardware inserts.

Congrats to PAUL GILBERT on the release of his new album! Im so happy I got to go on the journey of making this album with him! I had a very short stint working at guitar center as a teenager and I used to watch his instructional videos in the store all the time. It was truly surreal being asked to record and mix this album. Paul is one of the most incredible musicians i've ever worked with, what he wrote in the liner notes about getting goosebumps while recording these songs is no joke. He truly feels every note and it comes through in his playing. Thanks so much to Jeff and Maria at Peerless Mastering for the great masters!

Wrapping up an amazing month here at working on some of the best music I’ve ever been a part of. Thankful for the trust of all the artists that come in here and record in this special place. I worked with seven different artists this month, each one of them poured everything into their art and made me excited to be a part of it.

2022 What a year. Forever grateful to the artists I work with everyday that trust me with their art. I worked on a lot of amazing projects this year, some of which will be released next year. has been like a second home to me since I moved to Portland and starting tomorrow ill be taking over as the studio manager, Ill still be turing k***s making just as much noise in that room. Stoked for 2023!

Massive congratulations to my good friend on the release of his album! I loved every minute of working on this, the songs that James brought to me were incredible from the start and I’m very grateful that he let me do my thing with them.
