In only 48 the inspired 29 people to make and personally write messages in 259 cards to dozens of incarcerated mothers in Minnesota and Alabama prisons! Some also donated money to the pursuit. “This Road”

Bending ever so slightly, a winding elegant like time.
A lone pioneer.
Touched by the sky when it grows tired.
It is alone.
Does this road feel sorrow?
Nothing belongs to this road
But this road belongs to everything.
Discreetly breaking down.
Troubled and triumphant memories lie here.
Does this road beam bright red passion for the life that it welcomes and ushers out?
Finding romanticism in every bump, bump BUMP! BUMP! Bump, bump, bump, bump
Connecting treasures and traditions,
Tribal legacies,
Personal journeys along palpable panorama.
Taste the regal dust.
It tastes like future,
Freedom,
Beliefs.
Everyone is their very own road.

The road listens to momentary distillations of labor,
And love, laughter
Hears the nature, screams.
The wind carries and leads fate back to a road where hope prevails.
summons our dreams
summons our dreams
Never a trespass.
A friend to the land
Begging for the kinship of commuters.
Maneuvering a marvel of past present future
An educator among us.
Angels in shadows traversing the width
bless the dirt
This road is plain.
If only queens and kings could be so
Pleading with silence to bear recognition of abundant selves.
Each pebble settled and unsettled, jewels wrought by history,
Each stone a memory.

Streaking toward a new world and old
Dry, dusty stream of customs and covenants.
Breaking clouds and unrelenting sun reveal this road's majesty.
Directing, giving a way to each way.
Dreading dusk.
Weeping in darkness for tracks and footprints
And dawn.
Dares you to think
Now
This road tries to make the world better
