Hey guys a quick update about tonight’s episode of AGP

Hello everyone, as we’ve said a few times before, tonight’s show is canceled in remembrance of our friend, Mike Majors, who passed away suddenly on Monday. We have a video being posted tonight at 7:30 called the Mike “Grizzled Geek” Majors Absolute Geek Memorial Special that features some moments from every episode of Couch Crunchers, Tales from the Spinner Rack, and Absolute Geek that Mike appeared on. We miss him dearly and creating this video was a way for us to cope with the pain and uncertainty we are currently feeling. We would encourage you to comment on your favorite memories of Mike in the comments section of this post or on the video playing tonight. Our hopes are to at some point read them on air or do something special for his family. Thank you all for your continued love and support.

I rewatched in preparation for . I knew I loved this movie but forgot that it's one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Some say it isn't horror and I disagree. There are numerous moments in this movie that are horrifying. Not in a traditional horror sense but terrifying nonetheless

As a prior foster parent who has lost children I loved dearly, the story resonated with me back in 2018. As a new dad of a baby boy and the protector of my family, it hit even harder this time.

A Quiet Place is a masterpiece with little dialogue and yet a better told story than most films that manages to get the viewer to form a deep attachment to the characters with only a 90 minute run time.

I was excited for the sequel before but now I'm even more excited. Tune in to Couch Crunchers next Friday at 7 PM for our review of A Quiet Place 2.

Without Remorse Michael B Jordan once again shines and demonstrates how great an actor he is. The story is a bit predictable and generic but I still had a fun time watching it unfold. Some great action sequences and sound mixing made the fights feel impactful and interesting. If you have , check this one out. Be warned! there is a mid-credits scene.

Nobody Review

Nobody is a silly but fun romp fit for action fans. Bob Odenkirk has a particular set of skills reminicsent of John Wick and Kevin Mccallister. This family man finds himself bringing out his old skillset to get up to lots of violence. It has some of the goofiest lines I've heard in a movie in a while but the action was enjoyable and vibe just fun.

If you enjoy John Wick, you'll likely enjoy this movie as well. It's not as good as but has similar vibes and is still a great time.

I (Max) remember seeing trailers for Kingsman and thinking it looked awful. The weekend it released, my hometown opened their first theater so I decided to go. It was this or Cinderella and I chose Kingsman.

I'm so glad I did. It is legit my favorite spy movie and one I watch over and over. The humor is great, action ridiculous but perfect and the gadgets, which I thought looked silly in trailers, are some of the coolest out there.
