【最高規格口琴大賽今日圓滿結束 來自香港選手勇奪冠軍 Hong Kong finalist won in the Highest Specification of Chromatic Harmonica Competition 】
「第一屆香港國際半音階口琴大賽」正式完滿結束，來自本港及世界各地好手同場較勁，經過4輪激烈賽事，最終由來自香港選手梁栢渝勇奪冠軍。
整項比賽設4輪選拔賽，來自各地的口琴頂尖選手經過初賽後，22位參賽者脫穎而出，進軍4月4日及5日的半準決賽，再選出8強爭取準決賽席位。經過連番比拼，晉身4月9日的決賽。選手們在國際知名指揮家 Robert Reimer 凱默的指揮、香港城市室樂團伴奏下，盡展他們的音樂才華。這亦是口琴史上首個由專業樂團伴奏的比賽，為口琴比賽發展在國際舞台開啟重要里程碑。
四位選手均具備豐富口琴演奏經驗，他們在多個公開表演或開辦個人演奏會，更國際比賽中屢獲殊榮。經過評審團專業和嚴謹的評核後，最終梁栢渝以亮麗表現獲評審團選出成為冠軍。

選手最終排名及獎金如下：
冠軍 梁栢渝(香港) 獎金港幣10萬元正
亞軍 林家靖(台灣) 獎金港幣7萬元正
季軍 葉進禧(香港) 獎金港幣5萬元正
殿軍 梁承熹(香港) 獎金港幣3萬元

“The 1st Hong Kong International Chromatic Harmonica Competition” was over. The final competition is unveiled at Hong Kong City Hall after four rounds of selections. Showcasing the talent with stunning performances, the contestant from Hong Kong was awarded the honour.

In the four rounds of selection, contestants were tested on their stamina and abilities in various scenarios. The 22 high-calibre contestants were shortlisted for the quarter-final after the preliminary stage. Eight contestants were shortlisted for the Semi-final, and eventually, 4 contestants were selected for the Final. The finalists will perform and showcase their musical talents with the accompaniment by the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong under the baton of the internationally acclaimed conductor Robert Reimer, bringing unprecedented audiovisual enjoyment to the audience.

The four contestants- three from Hong Kong and one from Taiwan- were experienced in Harmonica performances. They have been featured in prestigious public and solo performances, being awarded in International competitions. After a professional assessment from the jury, LEUNG Pak-Yue was elected as the winner with heart-thumping performances.

The final results are shown as follows -
First Prize LEUNG Pak-Yue (Hong Kong) Prize: HK$100,000
Second Prize LIN Jia-Jing (Taiwan) Prize: HK$70,000
Third Prize YIP Chun-Hei (Hong Kong) Prize: HK$50,000
Fourth Prize LEUNG Shing-Hei (Hong Kong) Prize: HK$30,000

【要成為 #第一屆香港國際半音階口琴大賽冠軍 有幾難？ How hard is it to be the winner of ICHC?】

第一關：初賽 Stage 1: Preliminary
與來自世界各地參賽者於網上競逐，經評審以專業和公平的方式選出二十多位入圍者。
Interested participants around the world were invited to submit their applications online. Contestants were selected on a professional and fair approach in different rounds. Over 20 contestants were shortlisted and invited to take part in the Competition in Hong Kong in April 2023.

第二關：半準決賽 Stage 2: Quarter-final
進入半準決賽階段的 22 位參賽者，於比賽周首天或第二天先後在有鋼琴伴奏及沒有鋼琴伴奏下作口琴獨奏。
The 22 contestants then proceeded to the competition in the Quarter-final on the first and second days of the Competition. The format is harmonica solo with and without piano accompaniment.

第三關：準決賽 Stage 3: Semi-final
評審團將選出 8 位參賽者，進入第四天舉行的準決賽。比賽將以口琴獨奏形式進行，由羅曼四重奏伴奏，演奏長約 25 分鐘。
Eight contestants were shortlisted and entered into the Semi-final on the fourth day. The format is a harmonica solo with the Romer String Quartet, with a duration of about 25 minutes.

終極關卡：決賽 Stage 4: Final
評審團最終將選出四位決賽入圍者，並於4月9日進行決賽。參賽者須挑選一首協奏曲，總長度約為 23 至 25 分鐘，在國際知名指揮家 Robert Reimer 凱默的指揮下，由香港城市室樂團 (CCOHK) 伴奏，並成為全球口琴史上首個由專業樂團伴奏之大賽。
Four contestants will be selected to go to the Final on 9 Apr. Finalists will perform one concerto with accompaniment by City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong (CCOHK) under the baton of the internationally acclaimed conductor Robert Reimer. As this Competition becomes the first-ever harmonica competition event that features a full orchestra.

8名準決賽選手將於4月7日下午2:30至7:00在香港大會堂音樂廳進行準決賽。比賽將以口琴獨奏形式進行，由本地弦樂四重奏 - Romer String Quartet 羅曼四重奏 伴奏，各位樂迷萬勿錯過！

羅曼四重奏由四位香港土生土長的音樂家組成，以香港獨有的盧文氏樹蛙命名。2013年初首演後瞬即成為活躍於本港及海外的室內樂組合。

The 8 semi-finalists will proceed to the Semi-Final on 7 Apr (Friday) from 14:30 to 19:00 at the Concert Hall in the Hong Kong City Hall. They will perform a harmonica solo with a local string ensemble - The Romer String Quartet.

The Romer String Quartet, named after the Romer's Tree Frog endemic to Hong Kong, is a local ensemble formed by four musicians all born and raised in Hong Kong. The Quartet has been recognised locally and abroad as one of the most active string quartets in town since its debut in 2013.

The 1st Hong Kong International Chromatic Harmonica Competition was unveiled yesterday at Hong Kong City Hall. Contestants from local and international would compete during the 7-day music fiesta. “The 1st Hong Kong International Chromatic Harmonica Competition" will start in just one week! In addition to watching a harmonica competition with the best quality among all the ongoing harmonica competitions worldwide, you can also have a chance to admire over 200 rare and valuable harmonicas, and witness the changes of Hong Kong from the perspective of harmonicas.
