ディスコ元年といわれる1974年に新宿V-OneでDJをスタート。Q&B、Another World、Black Sheep、Chester Valley、Big Together、赤坂Cinderellaなど1980年までに20店舗以上の中～大箱DJを経て、当時のディスコシーンにおけるMCスタイルを確立。 世界的なディスコの急成長期を経験しつつも、Funky Musicへの強い執着を懐き続け現在に至る。
2009年からはFUNK関連の番組やイベントなどをプロデュースする「Funk Inc.」を主宰する傍ら、現役DJとして 70~80'sのUS FUNKを中心にExcitingなDJを展開し広くFunky Musicの紹介を行っている。
