Skeleton Crew Entertainment Skeleton Crew Entertainment is a production company based in the Niagara Region of Ontario Canada; specializing in everything music videos to feature film.

Skeleton Crew Entertainment is comprised of industry veterans Justin Peeler, Scott Patterson, Frank Popp Jr. and Christopher Darton. Individually, Peeler currently works in television for TSN. He has directed music videos for Derelict, Death Point, Door to Door Human Gore as well as a number of shorts. Scott Patterson works on the PBS series The Odd Squad. His past credits include Evil Dead The Mu

sical, Trey Parker’s Cannibal The Musical and The Great Canadian Dino Hunt. Frank Popp Jr. is the writer/director of the cult horror feature Mulch, which he worked on for 10 years before completing. He has also shot a number of short subject films. Christopher Darton is the producer/director of the documentary feature The Way We Was: The Story of the Kendall Wall Band. He is currently working on his second feature documentary. He has written articles for the Toronto Blues Society’ Maple Blues as well as a number of screenplays. The company's maiden project was Halloween Baby for the band Bobnoxious ... a throwback to the old school videos from the glory days of MTV and MUCH Music. The video is horror themed, set on Halloween ... a mini-movie of sorts it runs between 6-7 minutes in length. It is full of gory practical effects made in the spirit of the works of Sam Raimi and George Romero. It is an audacious action packed blood spattered video with a song steeped in the tradition of 80's punk rock and heavy metal.

Picture Show Panic in Florida thinks our work is "amazing!" They've invited our film to screen at their maiden festival run in Florida.
In 2019 Halloween Baby has been invited to festivals as far off as Bogota Columbia and The Netherlands. And then a little closer to home in Montana and of course Toronto.

Every time we get into a new festival it brings back fond memories of good times and hard work we put into this project.

Always proud when a film project I'm involved with finds an audience ... because that's the end goal ... for people to see your work.

Thank you to the fine people of Festival Internacional De Cine Y Metal in Bogota Columbia for making a bunch of horror nerds from Southern Ontario happy that they take the time to shoot all night, scrub fake blood from their hair and out their clothing for weeks to come and bust their collective asses to live out the dream of making movies.

Halloween Baby the little music video/mini-horror film that would not die makes it into another festival.

As always thanks to the lunatics of Skeleton Crew Entertainment and Bobnoxious for having faith in us.

The Shortstack Film Festival

Congratulations to the best guerrilla horror team around ... Skeleton Crew Entertainment ... Bobnoxious ... and special thanks to the fine people at The Shortstack Film Festival in Toronto for choosing Halloween Baby for this years competition.

Shorts films running from May to August for a competition in four different Toronto theatres and pancakes. Sounds like a dynamite combination.

Our very own Jesse Markowski is putting this little shindig together in the Falls this summer with Sean McAuley of Rockin' Boxes fame. It should be a dynamite event.

The venue will also be the host to a many vendors, offering goods ranging from food to other fantastic horror inspired merchandise.

This is great. It looks like our little film has wound up on some bootleg streaming site. Complete with synopsis ... photos ... cast information etc. Even claims we have a 7.4 rating on IMDB and we've got 78% with critics and 86% with audience on Rotten Tomatoes.

Best of all there's a review from someone saying the film is ... "visually impressive but utterly uninspired."

Skeleton Crew Entertainment' latest horror/comedy 37% Pure Evil runs on Saturday @ 1:30 (until 2:30) in room 208.
We will be screening our award winning video/mini-movie Halloween Baby as well as our new film and then chatting about all things horror with RATG TV host Ryan Fleming.
I'm proud as heck to announce that after our panel in the same room is Mummification 101 Workshop.

Scott Patterson works in TV and film doing make-up effects and set building. His past credits include Evil Dead The Musical, Trey Parker’s Cannibal The Musical, The Odd Squad and The Great Canadian Dino Hunt. Christopher Darton is the producer/director of the documentary feature The Way We Was: The Story of the Kendall Wall Band and Hard Working Man: The Music and Miracles of Danny Brooks. He has directed and produced a number of short documentaries including The Essence of Goodness. Currently Chris is working two documentaries both to be released in 2020. Their second project 37% Pure Evil premiered at Frightmare in the Falls in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The film is a horror/comedy short, it follows "The Killer" and his possessed 1978 Chrysler Newport, simply known as "The Beast". Sadly, the Killer dosen't quite live up to his name. Shot in a mockumentary style; utilizing practical make-up effects and a stylish flair for horror mirroring the 80’s heyday period of the genre and the works of horror luminaries like George Romero, John Carpenter and Sam Raimi. Think Trailer Park Boys meets Christine.

Horror News.Net says the is “funny as hell” “brilliant” and rated it 5 out of 5.
