I initially came to Bali with a plan to work and hustle hard, but life had other ideas for me. It turns out, despite my intentions, my soul needed a break and some time to rest and heal. Sometimes, our plans don’t align with what our inner selves truly need ✨

Spending time here has turned me into a more patient and calm person, which is pretty mind-blowing considering I’m usually all about the hustle and fast-living.

At first, it was very hard adjusting because I used to work 16+ hours a day, constantly pushing myself and avoiding my true feelings. Work has always been my way of coping since I was young, and I’ve been really hard on myself ☹️

Initially, I wanted to give up and go back to the familiar and (let’s be honest) fake comfort of the hectic lifestyle in the Netherlands just to escape. But I stuck with it.

I faced the challenge of living a more relaxed life, and it felt so strange to me. Surprisingly, after a few weeks, I’ve become a more calm person with a lot more patience 🤩

Now, I’m living in the present moment and enjoying life without punishing myself for little things like waking up later.

Sure, I miss the intense work flow, but I wonder if that’s because I’m wired to think life has to be that way ✨

Here’s a funny story: I ordered take-away and had to wait for 30 minutes. Strangely, I didn’t even care. Normally, I’d freak out because I hate waiting and anything slow. My ADHD/ADD brain usually can’t handle it 😤

Last months I’m really working on improving my overall health, spiritually, mentally and physically 🤯✨

Our body is our only engine so we have to take good care of ourselves

Fuel it with love and good foods, instead of toxic people, news, food, environment drinks and sugars ❌

Handle it with care. Be kind to yourself and patient 💪🏼

You are what you eat. You are what you think. Ban negative self-talk, people, news, trash content or low vibrational things.

I started to work out regularly again, take walks in nature and eat super clean. The outcome is extreme: a huge glow from inside and out, high energy levels and extremely improved mood and creativity. Highly recommend this to anyone. It doesn’t have to cost money. Walking is for free. Veggies are often more cheap than fastfood.

This is the best feeling ever as I was not able to work on my health for a very long time due circumstances in my private life.

This completely ruined me mentally and also physically and I was more stuck than ever.
