Just finished building a pair of Hairball Audio Elements Gold preamps for the studio. Super clean and transparent. Loving them!
I’ve done a bunch of DIY builds now, and no matter how careful I am with my soldering, and following the build instructions, I’m always left pleasantly surprised when the gear successfully turns on and doesn’t blow up!

Congrats to all the nominees and winners at last night's Dallas Observer awards! Special shout outs to Dead Mockingbirds, Poppy Xander, Frankie Leonie, Ryan Berg & the Velvet Ears, Rosegarden Funeral Party, and Monoculture. I've had the pleasure of getting to work with some of these amazing artists, and realize what a vibrant music community we have here. Here's to a prosperous 2019 for all!
