I will not be publishing TAW anymore due to financial hardship following the death of my wife, Sara. Subscriptions will not be available on my website or via mail. Back issues are available, however. Next week I will send the Summer 2022 file to the printer. Subsequently, subscribers will be mailed their copies of the magazine. I will have a limited number of hard copy magazines for sale on the TAW website. To ensure that you get a copy I recommend purchasing a subscription on line at tradarchersworld.squarespace.com before July 31, the date the mailing list is sent to the printer.
This issue features original art on the cover, hunting stories by Joe Blake, Clinton Miller and Marv Clyncke, an article on archery golf by Tom Colstad, general interest articles by Penny Nicol, Shaun Webb and Dave Haggist, a camp cooking story by Bob Steiner, and shooting tips by Dale Klug.

It is with a broken heart that I share the news of my wife Sara's passing on Wednesday. She was the cheerful voice on the telephone, took care of the order fulfillments and kept the TradArchers' World magazine alive. It's been fun attending some indoor shoots recently. Moving targets, swaying brush, and a rotating shoot-thru hollow stump made for some challenging shots... all fun, though.

The winter issue of TAW will be available at my booth, along with subscriptions and several back issues at bargain prices. The winter issue contains hunting adventure/opportunity stories (Blackbeard Island, mountain lion, deer, PA Wilds), how-to articles and much more. Stop by the booth and say, "Hi!"

The Winter issue of TradArchers' World magazine should be out in a couple of weeks. It won't be available at newsstands for this cycle, however. This issue contains adventure stories (chasing Africa plains game, Alaskan brown bears, and whitetail deer), how-to articles on making venison jerky and European skull mounts, achieving better accuracy with the bow, English archery history, AND lots more. Also, we will NOT be at the Traditional Bowhunters Expo in Kalamazoo this year, as the event was cancelled due to Covid19.

By now most subscribers to TradArchers' World magazine should have received their Fall 2020 issue containing hunting adventures by Monty Browning (Alaskan Moose), Joe Blake (Whitetail deer), Tom Bergstue (Whitetail deer) and Tom Colstad (elk), and how-to stories by Chris Walker (Saddle Hunter) and Marv Clyncke (Good Ol' Wood). Due to the state of the economy, no magazines were sent to newsstands. We have a few hundred issues available, however, at tradarchersworld.squarespace.com. PDF downloads of this issue and 40+ earllier issues are on sale also. Check us out!

This magazine is Turkey-ful with other hunting/how-to/bowyer advice/bowyer profile (Boris Rakic) stories for your enjoyment. The ongoing country-wide Corona virus precautions are both necessary and inconvenient. The Spring 2020 issue of TradArchers' World magazine will be sent out to subscribers later this week, but there will not be any going to newsstands due to them being mostly shut down. This issue has some interesting stories ranging from an exciting Dall sheep hunt to building an Asiatic-style recurve bow. The Spring 2020 issue can be purchased on sale at tradarchersworld.squarespace.com. We have many back issues on sale, too, for as little as a couple of bucks each. We are also offering FREE digital downloads of all four of the 2019 issues of TradArchers' World through April. Hopefully, this will give traditional archery fans some entertainment. Heading to a warmer climate Thursday morning... going to Dickson, TN to attend/vend at the Pre-Spring Arrow Fling, sponsored by Buck Hollow Bowhunters Club. Leaving extreme winter here in northern Wisconsin and looking forward to seeing dirt/dead grass/dead leaves and lots of different wildlife. Also looking forward to seeing many traditional archery friends and maybe even doing some shooting on the 3D courses. I will be in the vendor tent with a display of magazines, hooded sweatshirts, caps, decals, EZ Arrow Holders, and an assortment of lefty bows.

Loaded the vehicle and am heading to Kalamazoo, MI for the Traditional Archery Expo where I set up the TradArchers' World magazine booth with my new banner background. Just about set for a wall tent deer camp adventure in Kansas. Got the vehicle nearly loaded with camping gear, tree stands, ground blind, decoy, recurve bows and arrows, and lots of food and beverages. A stop tomorrow near Madison to watch grandson Drew perform in his high school play and then on the road to Kansas. Looking forward to this outing.
