This was written for a man that goes by the name of Bob, who frequents the music venues in Deep Ellum. He is one of the most inspiring spirits I've ever met, and every person that gets to know him comes away with something profound. As said in passing conversation at The Free Man Bar in Dallas, "You don't truly know Deep Ellum, until you've met Bob".
