You Only Have ONE Life...
Today (July 23) is my birthday and I turn 72 (actually, I’ve been turning 72 since last year this time, so I have completed 72 years, but let’s not get technical).
So, I’ve made a decision to start telling my story. I’ve been a storyteller for many years and now I’m going to start telling my story in all the ups and downs...the good, the bad, and the ugly even. Why am I doing this? There are many reasons, but the main one is to allow people to see and maybe identify with me...to be encouraged, maybe even inspired to live life to the fullest. I want to reach every age from those in my camp, to those that I currently coach in High School Football, and to those even younger with my “Stories for Joshua”. I certainly have no intention of hurting or blaming anyone for things that happened in my life, and I will be as gracious as I can be while showing my own conflicts and struggles.
My goal is to go for a year, but right now I will commit to the next 7 days and then recommit after that for another period of time.
I posted the image above from a coffee cup I have that I absolutely love!
“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about CREATING YOURSELF.”
A lot of people start winding down at 72, but I want to kick it into another gear. I have another quote on my wall that says, “It is never too late to be who you might have been.” George Elliot.
I hope you laugh with me, maybe you’ll cry with me, but please never feel sorry for me. I am enjoying a wonderful life and I would love to take you on this journey. I will post on Facebook, to my email blog list (if you want to be on it just send a request to [email protected] and your email), on my Goodnewspublications.com website under “Stories for Joshua”, Youtube.com (I’ll send a link later when it’s all set up) and a few other places I will let you know about if you are interested.
Yes, it sounds like a lot, but if you want Quantum results, you are going to have to take Quantum leaps...so why not. It may take some time to get it all set up, but that’s the plan.
I think that’s enough for today, so I’m going to go enjoy my birthday with my wife and I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
