They say history is written by the victors.. I say history is not simply about winning and losing. It's about documenting the journey for you and others to learn in order to prepare for a better future. Blacklist is a very young team and has only 1 year in its history but the people
in this organization have went through heartbreaks, challenges and a lot of other things before they got to this point.

Veewise prior to joining our organization went through multiple finals heartbreaks and had to listen to people who doubted them that they never had what it takes to win it all. Edward at one point was just trying to find his identity in the team and almost left the organization. Oheb needed to prove so many things as a rookie especially after hearing a lot from his doubters in MPLI. Bon Chan and Dexstar's unorthodox picking was mostly criticized trying to go against the Meta. Eson jumped from team to team trying to prove his worth that he still had it. Outside of those 7 individuals, Rada our general manager is someone I found in a youtube comment wanting to help out our DOTA 2 team perform better as he felt that what he learned in the call center industry is something he can bring in to our organization.

Blacklist's story is far from a fairytale, it's about individuals who have went through adversity trying to prove their capability for greater things despite the world telling them that they can't. It's about rising to the challenge and the doubts that the world has thrown at them just because they are not the typical heroes you see in the stories you read growing up. I still remember my old post on how the doubts have developed through out this run and more.

Despite all the doubts, they came out as champions in one of the most competitive mobile esports in the country and in the region. For this reason and so much more I'M SUPER PROUD OF OUR BLACKLIST INTERNATIONAL. This may not be your typical fairytale where the protagonist is the best looking hero that will simply tear everyone apart after stumbling for once in the middle of the story, it's about your unorthodox group of individuals who have went through impossible situation in every step of the way.

Is history written by the victors? Maybe, but I say history is not just written, it's read and experienced by everyone who were witnesses to the life changing moments of our lifetime. History is not based on one linear story anymore, it's about the multiple stories of those who have witnessed it.

This Trophy is not just about making a mark in our short history. It's for those who have been doubted their whole lives and heard the word's "you don't have what it takes". It's for those who have fought through life just because they are different. It's for those who want more but the world is telling you to just settle. It's for those who are working towards their dream each and every day while all your friends and the people around you are enjoying and telling you to not take life too seriously. It's for the whole Tier One family who just like every individual in blacklist have went through the adversity of trying to prove their place in the world. This is for all of you!!

Our history is still being written and we don't know how far we can go but let it be remembered that this movement started because a cosplayer who at one point people said "what the hell are you doing?" and a shoutcaster who simply believed that there can be more than what the status quo offered with a group of individuals who believed in them decided take the road less taken. Now we have more and more people and institutions who believe in us and are trying to build something bigger than all of us. To me, that's what this win is about. This is not just for blacklist international, this is not just for tier one entertainment. This for all of you out there who want to change the game and prove everyone around you that you are more than enough. Congratulations team! Thank you for bringing this home. Thank you to everyone who was part of this run and to Pao Bago who brought me the idea of project dorothy which is now blacklist international. He may have left the organization before the season started but I want to dedicate this win to him as well.
